Andromeda saw nothing but black that was her definition of blacking out, she remembered waking up in the backseat of the car and seeing a flash of blonde before blacking out again. She can feel her muscles ache, especially her arms, she rolled on to her back on the bed and reached out her hand for Charlie but she wasn't next to her, she turned to her side with her eyes still closed to grab one of their embroidered pillows but all she felt was silky pillowcases and she tried to open her eyes but her vision was still blurry from the sleeping but she can see the cloud of light streaming down the window and she rubbed her eyes with her sleeve and her eyes finally adjusted back to its usual clear vision and she was in a completely unfamiliar bedroom

"Charlie! Where'd you get the money for the hotel?" she hollered but the room was completely silent, she sat up and rested her forehead on her knees as she massaged her throbbing temples with her fingers "Charlie!" she called out yet again but there was no response, she thought that the girl had fallen asleep in the bathroom after a night of vomiting and bad choices. She swung her legs off the edge of the bed and stretched her toes that still felt numb after a night in high heels before standing up, she almost fell on the carpeted floor because the dizziness still lingered, and she grabbed her shoes from under one of the tables and headed towards the bathroom "Charlie? You asleep in here?" she asked turning on the sink and splashing the cold water on her face and she looked at the mirror and was surprised that her makeup was off and she grabbed the glass beside the sink to wash off the taste of alcohol and vomit in her mouth and she opened the shower curtain but she wasn't there either

"What the fuck?" she whispered and she walked out of the bathroom quickly and ran towards the door to get home but as she reached out for the handle, someone was turning it from the other side and she backed away a few feet with high hopes that Charlie would walk in with coffee or food or whatever but it wasn't Charlie, it was a young man with dark blonde hair and a rugged look "Oh, you're awake. How are you feeling?" he asked and Andromeda just eyed him up and down as he put down the food on the table "You must be hungry." He chuckled and Andromeda took a whiff and her eyes widened when she realized what he was

"I'm really not, I'm going home." She turned on her heels and opened the door but halfway through it, he slammed it close and pushed her against it, she groaned as her back collided with it, still feeling sore from last night "I can't let you." He said in a strong tone and she placed her hand on his chest and pushed him back in a light manner and he put his arms down but Andromeda kept her back on the door "Do you know who I am now, Dromeda?" he asked in a more softer tone and the girl nodded "Luke fucking Hemmings, what are you doing here Alpha? What business would you like to discuss?" she said coldly and he took a piece of her hair in his fingers and twirled in around "I'd like to know if it's true. I'd like to test this," He said and she raised her eyebrow and gave him a confused look "I'm pretty certain that you are my mate." Andromeda felt numb at his words "Mate?" she questioned and he only nodded

"I'm sorry Luke but you have the wrong girl, now if you'd excuse me." She turned her back against him and he slammed the door yet again "I'm not like you guys anymore! Just fucking let me go!" she pushed him a bit harder this time "Shh, we don't know that yet but I'm certain that it's you, I wouldn't be here for nothing, I have a reason." He reassured and grabbed her forearm and lead her to the table

"Don't touch me." She sneered and jerked her arm away from him "Andromeda stop being difficult." He sighed and sat down on the edge of the bed "I don't want anything to do with you, I have my own life here. I really must go now." She calmly said as she sensed him tense up at her previous action, she put on her shoes and was finally be able to walk out of the hotel room without Luke holding her back.

She let out a sigh of relief as she got home and Charlie wasn't in the house yet "Great." She muttered to herself and walked to the small kitchen and made herself a cup of coffee. She was trying to push out the thought of Luke saying she was his mate, she wanted to prove him wrong even though it was true.

The moment she made eye contact with him, she knows it and her inner wolf knows it. However she does not want to be part of it again, she has moved on from her previous life she even promised to herself that she won't ever shift to her wolf form because that's not her anymore but no matter how much she would deny and forget about it, she is and will always be a wolf.
