Andromeda was numb, mentally and emotionally numb, she was sprawled out on what seems to be Luke Hemmings' bed, the Alpha of the Wild Blood Pack, one of her family's connections. She had met Luke before, when they were both 15 years old, he was a scrawny and shy kid but now, he was a completely different person. All those years of trying to get away and successfully doing so ended up with her still being found.

Usually Wolfsbane is fatal to a wolf but a small amount of it can knock the person out for days or a week, it can also affect your memory from the moment it runs through you but Andromeda can remember every single thing that had happened before she was knocked out. Luke got into her head, especially in her inner wolf's head that made her more unwillingly submissive. 

Apparently Calum was one of Luke's friends from another pack and he knew that Andromeda didn't have pretty strong senses anymore but the smell of smoke and alcohol somehow masked his smell to avoid her from detecting him even though there was less chances of her doing so because she never really spend a lot of time with Calum, let alone stay in the same room with him for 30 minutes. 

She remembered Luke shoving her in the front seat after many attempts of being patient and when she tried to get away from him, she got handcuffed to the car's handle, every move she made with the silver handcuffs wrapped around her wrists just burned her and despite the pain she still made attempts to free herself, even kicking the steering wheel that caused the car to swerve and Luke getting mad at her reckless behavior. 

When they got to Luke's pack, her anxiety rose up but she kept a brave face on as he dragged her out of the car and into the infirmary, she remembered thrashing around trying to get out of his grip but at the same time Luke holding her against him felt so right but she had to fight those urges, she cannot let Luke see how it affects her and that was all she remembered before she felt the wolfsbane run through her body and knocking her unconscious. 

She opened her eyes once again from another slip into unconsciousness and Luke was next to her "What do you want?" she spat turning to her side "You put up quite a fight Little wolf." he replied and he ran his hand on her arm and it made her shiver "So tell me Andromeda, how can a sweet, naive, and innocent little girl like you run away and manage to survive? More importantly what made you run? Too scared of Mommy's plans for your future?" he mocked and she quickly turned to face him and grabbed his collar roughly with all her strength and she looked him in the eye "I am not a little girl, Hemmings. Don't you dare think that you can intimidate me." she gritted through her teeth and she pushed him down on the mattress "Play nicely Little wolf." he warned as he got up "Someone is here to see you by the way, I'll call for them and try not to mess up the room, it's my room as well." and with that he left the room, leaving her in silence again until she heard heels clicking against the wooden floor and the door being opened

"Dromeda?" she recognized that voice, was it really her? Was it really her sister? "Andromeda, it's me." she sat up and there she was, face to face with her older sister "Athena." she mumbled and the older girl approached her "I've missed you so much!" Athena's quivered as she embraced her little sister tightly, she never imagined this moment ever since she left 

"I thought I'd never see you again, you still look as beautiful as ever." Athena wiped her tears away and all Andromeda can do was look at her "Are you okay sweetheart?" Athena asked cupping her face in her hands and she nodded "Cassiopeia is here too." she said and she can feel her heart beat more irregularly "Cas!" Athena hollered and her oldest sister walked in the room, elegant yet strong as she is "Cassiopeia." Andromeda whispered and the oldest sibling just had a disappointed look in her face "Andromeda." her tone was cold and Athena slapped her sister's leg and gave her a look "Well, how have you been?" Cassiopeia asked "I-I-I was fine until I was brought here." Andromeda answered honestly while glaring at he oldest girl 

"I see, while you were out there whoring yourself out, we were here worried sick! Did you know what you did to our mother? She's dead Andromeda, she's dead because you were such a brat that-" Andromeda cut her off "I never whored myself out there I got myself a job! How can you say that to me! As for Mom, you knew what her plan was for me-" she choked on a sob "Job? Sure honey, like anyone would want a stupid and naive girl like you! Do you have any idea of how much trouble you have caused?" Cassiopeia kept scolding her younger sister 

"Cas stop it." Athena said sternly, holding the now crying Andromeda in her arms, trying to soothe her "I'm done here." And with that Cassiopeia trudged out of the room and the only sound was Andromeda crying and Athena trying to comfort her.

"What happened?" Andromeda asked as she lied across her sister on the bed,Athena hummed and took a piece of her sister's auburn hair in her fingers and twirling it 

"When you left, Mom was devastated, devastated because of the merging and she had a heart attack, she was stable for a few days but the stress just got to her and she just passed." Athena explained and Andromeda looked down 

"I didn't want that to happen, I just wanted to be free from it, I didn't want to marry Ashton because he wasn't my mate. It was just to tiring to meet Mom's expectations and I just snapped and I learned to be independent, I got a job." she explained her side as she looked at her sister's sullen face, facing her family was a bit overwhelming and it just made her break down even more, from Luke claiming to be her mate, to seeing her sisters again, to be blamed for a death
