Catherine's POV
Today is another day, but there's nothing new. Still, Red is madly in love with Loureen. Wtf. I've tried my best but..
Still, Red can't love me the way I love him.
As soon as I reached the company, I look for him. I was about to ask her secretary when I saw him went inside the elevator. Where is he going?
Before the elevator door closed, I managed to get inside.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Somewhere." matipid nyang sagot.
"I know. Im asking for the place." I said. Acting calmly.
"Why do you want to know?" he answered back. Arggh. I hate this. Lately, pag kakausapin ko siya it's either hindi siya sasagot o magiging cold siya.
I have to act cool.
"Nothing. I will just accompany you!" sabi ko ulit.
"No, Catherine wag na. Thank you nalang." He replied.
"I didn't ask for permission so I will not take your ""No"" as an answer. Lets go!" I insist.
Yung elevator ay pababa papuntang carpark. Sumakay na ko agad sa kotse niya. Whether he likes it or not, he has no choice.
Huminto ang sasakyan sa tapat ng isang boutique.
Of all this place, DITO PA?
WHY HERE?
"Red, why are we here? Don't tell me magp'propose kana sakin?" sarcastic kong sabi. We're in a boutique. This place, puro about wedding. Gowns, rings and other stuffs.
Red didn't asnwer. Nauna na siyang bumaba. Sumunod lang ako sa kanya. WAG NIYANG SABIHING.... HE WILL PROPOSE TO LOUREEN?
Seriously?
"Welcome to Marionell Boutique, Ma'am, Sir. How may I help you?" sabi nung lumapit saming babae.
"Ahm, I requested a ring last week and--
Hindi pa natatapos ni Red yung sinasabi niya nang may isa pang babae na lumapit samin. She's kinda old actually.
"Red, siya ba ang tinutukoy mo? Si Miss Catherine Lois?" nakangiting sabi nito. Is she referring to me? So humawak ako sa arm ni Red.
"Red, you didn't tell me about this." bulong ko sa kanya but it's like he did not hear me.
"Ah, no. She's just my friend." He said that after he removed my hand on his arm.
Ouch.
"Oh, I'm sorry. This way, Red." sabi nung old lady.
Sasama pa sana ko pero Red wants me to stay here. Arrgh. The heck.
Hindi naman sila nagtagal.
"So what happened? Ano ba talagang pinunta natin dito? Huy!" I asked.
'Isn't it obvious?" tanong niya.
"Obvious ang alin? What the heck is the reason why are we here?" I asked again.
"You don't need to know. Hindi ka pa ba titigil sa pagtatanong?" Irita na siya nung sinabi niya yon.
"No, not until you say why are we here." I strongly said.
"First of all, hindi kita sinama rito. You're asking me why? Okay, I'll tell you. I'm going to propose to Loureen. Okay na?" Red explained.
"WHAT?!"
Propose to Loureen? Seriously? To that girl? To that human? No. Hindi pwede yon. Hindi maaari. HINDI AKO PAPAYAG.
Red is mine. MINE ALONE.
Later, this evening. Nag bar hopping ako together with my friends.
"Lois, why did you invite us anyway?" Meg asked. Karinda. They keep on asking why.
"Can't you just enjoy the place and stop asking why?!" sabi ko.
"E ba't ang sunget mo?'' Meg asked. The heck.
"Nag away kayo ni Red ano?" Faye added.
"Siguro pinagpalit na siya ni Red sa iba. How pitiful." Reema said.
"Shut up!!! Red is mine. No one owns him but me!" I shouted. My drink almost spilled. Gad. How dare them. Hindi nalang manahimik. Nakikinabang naman sila sa pera ko. Bullsh*t.
I went to another table and saw Rahy there.
"I know how you feel, dear Katerina." He said as if he knew.
"Believe me, cause I really know what's exactly goin' on." He added.
"Don't read my mind." I said.
"Well, I am not." He replied.
"Whatever." I simply said. And told the waiter to give me anoher drink.
"See? You're broken. It's very obvious. How does it feel when the man you love is going to propose to another woman?" He asked me. How did he know?
So I asked him.
"I'm not telling you. Poor Katerina, their Catherine Lois is brokenhearted." Rahy teasingly said.
"No!" I shouted.
"Really? Are you going to let that happen? Don't you have plans already? C'mon, tell me. I MIGHT HELP YOU, dear." He said then smirked.
"Plans? I do not have plans. But I WANT HER GONE." I strongly said.
"Seems interesting." then he grinned.
