Amy's POV

I woke to the slight nudging of a hand against my warm shoulder. I hated mornings. I loved sleeping and staying all warm and toasty under my covers, so why the hell would anyone want to even get up?

"Amy, wake up we have to go now" Olly my brother said as he shook my shoulder. He was 2 years younger than me but he moved into my house about a year ago because he was fed up with living with my parents.

"Ummmm what" I said slowly waking up and squinting against the light above my head that he had turned on.

"We are going to visit mum and dad today for a barbecue, remember?" he said in an agitated tone running a hand through his short blonde hair. He had our dads stocky build but our mums light blonde hair colour. I had inherited my dads hair though and had very thick curly brown hair. If you didn't know us you would find it hard to tell that we were related we look so different from one another. "Come on or we'll be late"

"All right all right I'm up" I said rolling out of bed "Just give me five minutes". I would definitely need more than five minutes though.

I walked into the bathroom to get washed and brush my hair. I'm not a morning person so it took me more than five minutes to get ready and decent to go out.

I ended up wearing black skinny jeans a baggy iron man top and my army combat converse.

As I walked downstairs Olly came to the bottom and said "why do you wear marvel tops all the time, man you are obsessed!"

"I love marvel and there is nothing wrong with that" I snapped "can we just go?"

We walked out the front door to the car and jumped into the passenger seat. It was a fifteen minute drive to mums so I decided to get comfy. I put the radio on as my favourite band came on (one direction) of course I knew all the words so I was singing along as loud as I could.

"Do you have to shout so loud!" Olly asked

"I'm not shouting I'm singing!" I shouted back.

"God you're a pain in the ass some times" Olly mumbled just loud enough for me to hear
