Chapter 10

Chris' POV

We walked to the car and she was just about to get in when I stopped her.

"I need to put this blindfold on you so you don't know where we are going because it is a surprise" I said putting a blindfold over her eyes and strapping her seatbelt on.

We drove of in silence but it was t one of those awkward silences it was a comfortable silence. When we reached our destination I went to her side of the car and led her out still not letting her see where we are.

I pulled her along with me guide her through the busy square until we were clear of people.

Amy's POV

I felt that we were walking onto something soft and was about to ask what it was when Chris whipped the blindfold off me to reveal that we were on a beach.

It was so perfect. There was shops on either side that were closed with little twinkling lights on the outside giving the sand a warm golden glow.

Chris and I walked over to a bench where we sat down and kicked off our shoes.

My dress was only knee length so Chris rolled up his jeans and we went paddling in the water only to discover that it was freezing cold. And I mean cold.

I squealed and ran out but Chris ran after me and grabbed my hand.

We held hands back along the beach until we reached the bench where we left our shoes.

When our feet where dry we put on our shoes and since it was warm, we went and got an ice cream from a cute little shop in the square.

Everything had quietened down so we went and say next to the fountain in the middle of the square.

Chris was mucking around eating his ice cream really silly so when he was about to take a bite I shoved his hand and the ice cream went all over his face.

He cleaned up and then he got all serious and grabbed my hands.

Looking me in the eye he started to speak.

" i know I haven't known you for that long but I really like you and was wondering if you would maybe be my girlfriend?"

His shyness was so cute and I was speachless.

He started to look worried and sad so I made myself speak.

"Of course I will" I said and leaned in and kissed him.

Chris' POV

she said yes!

She leaned in and kissed me and fireworks went off.

We pulled away and stood up.

I took her hand we walked back along the square to the car.

I opened her door for her and we both got in and drove off.

When we reached her house I walked her too her front door.

"Come inside then chris" she said and pulled me in with her.

"What time do you call this then?" Olly asked as we walked through the door.

"I will not have you keeping her out till 12 every day! go to your room Amy and you are never allowed to see chris again! do you understand me?"

"Yeah ok Olly" sorry I said and turned around as if to walk away but I kissed chris instead.

"Off to your room now!" Olly screeched so I laughed and ran upstairs.
