Ressa: Many Happy Returns

I woke up in a daze with P.B.'s head lying on my stomach. I groaned, causing P.B. to wake up. He looked towards something and barked, running towards it. My vision was still blurry, so I couldn't see what it was. I then felt a sharp pain in my head. I winced. Images started filling my mind, flickering past my eyes.

Flashback

"What if they are where are spirits are tethered. Like the room that was the most special to us." We looked at each other and we all shouted "The Secret Rooms!" and bolted upstairs. I ran to my gym area crawling through the fire place and tumbling out. I found a small note in the room.

Quite smart you are
Just too far
To Find your pendent
Search for the pennant 
Look to the sky
Shoot a Bulls-eye
And soon with be in sight
Your Elemental Light

Find a Pennant... Look to the Sky... I looked up and found just what I was searching for; A Yellow Jackets Pennant, with a target drawn on it. Simple enough. I grabbed a bow and arrow and took a shot, landing straight on a Bulls-eye. The pennant fluttered down, and I sprinted for it... but there was no pendant to be seen. I raised my head up slowly and saw the glare of a red stone. in the rafters. Great. I thought to my self. I found a raised balance beam and ran for it. I flipped and landed on it, and then I cartwheeled it, and grabbed the lowest rafter. I swung up and climbed over every one till I reached the same level as my pendant. I walked towards it slowly and finally got it. I placed it in my pocket, and jumped down, tucking and rolling onto the gymnastics mat. I then ran out of my room and up to Xandi's to see if she had found hers yet. I ran through the mirror to her studio and she was singing a song. I saw her note a read it.

She finished her song and I looked up to see her holding a glowing green pendant. We raced downstairs to the library, meeting Sydney and Leia there. We placed our stones on the Elemental Pedestal, and they rose up slowly, then Wandera appeared again. "In one years time, you will be transported here again, along with your friends. Once you get back you will only remember what I have told you of the Pendants and nothing else, until you return, and then you shall remember. everything."

I sat up in shock. Wandera had granted us so much, and yet she still was willing to give us our life in the mortal world. We could go to school, get jobs, Heck we could go to college. I walked over and woke everyone else up. When the girls had gotten their memories back, Sydney looked up to the House and said, "Is it just me, or does the house look a LOT taller? Like 7 levels taller." at first I thought she had hit her head when she landed, but then I looked towards the house and saw she was right. "It's probably Everyone else's rooms..." Leia suggested. I nodded, figuring she was right. I started toward the house, The sun shining through the trees. When we all got into the house, I went straight for the lift. I saw 11 room buttons labeled, CE, LM, LE, LY, NL, EE, NE, AA, TA, LA, and SY. Chale, Liam, Lottie, Libby, Nathaniel, Evie, Nathalie, Alexandria, Taressa (me), Leia, and Sydney. Everyone came over and piled in. We decided to go to everyone's room to check them out.  Chale stepped forward and pressed his button. We rode up in comfortable silence. When we stepped out, we walked to his room. There was a key hole there with a key hanging on a peg. the top was a small cloud with wisps inside. He unlocked the door, and we all headed inside. He had sky wallpaper, and the clouds were actually moving! The floor was amazing! In the entrance, there were cloud stepping stones and the carpet was blue. We walked in slowly. The bed had a blue duvet and white sheets. The bathroom had blue tile and white walls. It had a shower, sink, mirror, loo, and speakers through-out the room. We all walked back out to the lift, and Nath pressed his button. I put my head on his shoulder on the way up, and when the lift 'Dinged' as Syd would say, we all stepped onto his floor. His key had a sun on the end, with rays in it. He unlocked the door and we stepped in. The walls were bright white and the carpet was also white. I smirked "Have fun keeping this clean, Nath." His eyes popped open and he said "I thought it cleans itself?!?" We laughed at his socked expression and I said, "It does, I was just kiddin' with you!" He breathed a sigh of relief and I let out a small giggle. His duvet was a muted yellow with white suns, and the sheets were also white. I peeked into his bathroom and saw white tiles, and light blue walls. I walked back out, excited to see the other girls rooms. We then went up to Liam's room. His key had a mountain with some wicked awesome pebbles in it. His walls were forest green and the carpet was a grass green with specks of brown like a forest floor.  His bed duvet was brown with green undertones and the sheets were the same as the walls. The bathroom had brown tiles and green walls. I was starting to get impatient, and walked out. the boys decided to stay in Liam's room while we went and checked out the other bedrooms. We went up to Nathalie's room and she picked up her key. It was a frosted flower, most likely enchanted to never melt. When we walked in, I was hit by a blast of chilly air, and warmed myself up. Nat breathed in deeply. The floor was blue marble, like ice, but was still fairly warm. her walls were a sparkling white and there were frosted picture dotted all around the walls. Her duvet cover was a light blue with white swirling snowflakes. The sheets were white with light blue undertones, and her pillows were the same as the cover. I walked into her bathroom, and the first thing I noticed was the ice floor, and mini skating rink. The walls were light blue and she had floor length one way windows. her mirror had frozen designs circling the edge. Nat just stared in Awe. We all laughed and went up to Evie's room. Her key was a   raindrop, filled with blue crystals. As we walked in, I had to keep from stumbling over. Her floor was... water! except it had a an enchantment that kept you from falling in. I regained my balance and walked in. Her duvet cover was dark blue with golden swirls and her sheets were gold with blue undertones. The bed was obviously a water bed, and she had practically every piece of water furniture there could be. I walked into her bathroom which had dark blue marble tiles with gold swirls. the walls were so realistic, I thought I was under water, and the roof was like the top of a lake. She also had a swimming pool, like Syd does. Her expression was similar to Nat's and as we walked back to the lift, she was stuttering in amazement. Syd's room was next, so we just went to Lottie's. (Heads up, Charlotte918!) Her key was a cloud with purple vapors in it. As soon as we walked in, I stared in amazement. Her roof was an overhead of clouds, and every once in a while, a crackle of thunder or a flash of lightning was seen. Her floor was light brown carpet with little bits of white. Her duvet was a deep purple and yellow suns, like in tangled. Her sheets where white with purple undertones. I slipped into the bathroom and gaped. The Tile was purple and white, with tangled suns dotted here and there. The walls were white and had tangled paintings hanging up. We walked out, and I could have sworn the clouds thinned up a little at Lottie's Bright smile. Next would be Leia's and then Libby's, so we went up to Libby's room. When we walked into the bright pink room, I covered my eyes. "I've been BLINDED!" Libby gave me a 'really?' face and I smirked. It was fairly warm and her white carpets were warm to the touch. Her pink walls did in fact momentarily blind me, but I still blinked away the spots in my eyes and looked at her pink and gold duvet cover. The sheets were gold with pink undertones, and the fire place was already crackling and snapping. I went into the bathroom and looked at the pink tiles. They heated up where ever there was pressure, like mine, and the white walls radiated heat. I walked out, stating I was going to my room. I went up to my bedroom and collapsed on my bed. I had missed it a lot. I walked into my closet and looked in the mirror at my clothes. I had on a pair of ripped black jeans and a red t-shirt that said 'Love it!' I also had on a pair of black converse high tops and I also wore red eye shadow and black eye liner. My red hair was in a high ponytail, and I also had on a pair of red earrings with arrows that said 'Dream Big' I sighed and fell back on my bed, ready to fall asleep. I curled up and drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up again from peaceful, much needed rest, it was 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. so I came up with the brilliant idea of going on a picnic. I walked downstairs, suggesting it to the others and they agreed. Us girls all ran up to our rooms to 'pick out clothes'. Saying it was torture would be an understatement. Leia gave me a collared red and white polka-dotted dress, a blue bow tie, (While Sydney ran around the room yelling "Bow ties are cool!") a pair of American flag earrings, a flag bracelet, a pair of brown combat boots with studded flags on them and then she had Sydney use her element to make my nails blue, and she dried them in under 5 seconds. She then ran me off to the bathroom, and made me take a shower. I rolled my eyes at her persistence, but did it anyway. When I got out, I dried my hair and put it up in a ponytail, then got dressed. Leia then came barging in with Alex, demanding she do my eye make-up. We both rolled our eyes, but Alex waved her hand. I looked in the mirror and saw sunflower eyes. I recoiled, and Leia dragged me out. She handed me a flag bag of food and pushed me out the door, placing my IPhone in my hands with, yep you guessed it, American Flag Case. When we got downstairs, my eyes flitted over the girls. Their outfits were like mine, except different... Themes. Sydney had Doctor Who, Alex had Music, Leia had Lord of the Rings, Evie had Beauty and the Beast, Nathalie had Harry Potter (I'm Pretttty sure that was Sydney's idea since she had never even read the books before.), Libby had... Sailing... stuff.. and Lottie had Alice in wonderland. When we found the boy's in the kitchen, they gave us all strange looks and We all just pointed at Leia. They all kinda had a collective 'Oooohhhhh' moment, but was interrupted by Leia smacking them all upside the head. We all laughed and walked out, deciding to see if there was any good picnic spots. We walked about for a little while till we came to a field of wildflowers. Us girls inhaled the smell, and took off through the fields. I can be a girl sometimes. Alex found a stop in the middle and twirled around, making some of the flowers disappear, therefore making a large stop for us to sit in. I put the blanket down and sat down the food. I pulled out a plain Chicken, swiss, tomato sandwich. Most would find that very uninteresting, but for me, it was the most delicious thing ever. After a year of huge feasts and 'Training' it was a relief to finally eat a sandwich, chips, and play with P.B. in the field of flowers. When the sun set, we just sat in the field, looking at all the stars, and soon we went back to the house. I changed into a pair of red pajama shorts, a red t-shirt and threw my hair up into a messy ponytail and fell into a deep sleep, with a genuine smile plastered on my faces, for the first time in many months.
