Leia & Sydney: Returning Home

Leia POV:

After a Long day of Searching for Sydney we all colapsed in the living room. If she didn't want to be found, we wouldn't find her. Knowing Syd she was probably having a lot of things going through her mind at the moment. She'd want to be alone. We were all about the go start dinner, figuring she'd be back before too long when we all heard a Blood Curdling scream. Sydney's . Noah and I were the first ones to take off and everyone followed, running through the forest and screaming out her name until our throats were scratchy and sore. I ran to the waterfall, hoping to find her there, but instead i found something that chilled my blood. It was one of her shoes, sopping wet and missing a person. I sank to my knees and sobbed. First i lose my Best Friend and Now i've lost my sister? What's next my Fiance? My Cat? My friends? Everything i love and Cherish? The others found me and Alex was rubbing my back soothing me and telling me it was ok, she'd turn up somewhere but it didn't help. It just reminded me that she was gone. And i didn't know if she was coming Back.

Syd POV

(Nah, i won't leave yall hangin)

I turned around searching for the waterfall, but i found nothing, just the Endless Aethen Sea. I didn't understand. The girls and i had jumped down the waterfall millions of times and obviously never ended up here. I heard the pounding of hooves and tried to jump into the water as quickly as i could. Tried being the keyword.

"Your Highness?" I heard behind me. I turned to see a royal guard and i groaned inwardly. Well Crap.

About 30 minutes later, i had arrived at the castle with the guard and i got down, grimacing at my sopping wet clothes, and then i noticed i had lost a shoe. Oh well that's just Fan-Freaking-Tastic I'm wet, I've lost a shoe, and my parents are going to kill me. Fabulous.

The guard escorted me to the throne room where my parents sat conversing, looking more tired than i had ever seen them. When they looked up and noticed us they sat astonished.

"Syd... Sydney What are you doing here? I though you girls were going to stay in the Mortal world? It's not the 4th of July yet is it? Where are your sisters?"

I stopped them before they could ask anymore questions. " I have no idea what I'm doing here. Yes we were going to stay in the mortal world, no its not the 4th of July yet and The girls are back in the mortal world." My parents sent the guard out and we talked for a little while longer before they sent me upstairs to my old bedroom. I changed into of my my old night gowns and let my hair down. I'd call the girls in the morning when the reception hot spot came through. I crashed onto the bed and slept without a single dream in my mind.

Leia POV

I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I must've fallen asleep around midnight when i honestly fell asleep. No literally. I Fell. Out of a tree. And went to sleep. I heard a faint buzzing noise and pulled out my phone seeing it was Mom.

"Hello?"

"Leia, its Syd-"

"OH MY FRIGGIN GOD DONT YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN DO YOU REALIZE HOW FUDGING SCARED I WAS THAT YOU WERE DEAD!! YOU SCARED THE LIFE OUT OF ME WHERE ARE YOU? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? ARE YOU OK? SYDNEY VANREEN AETHER YOU ANSWER ME THIS SECOND!!!"

"Holy Crap Leia chill! I'm in Aether, i don't know how i got here exactly, i fell down the waterfall and ended up here. I'm fine just a little shaken up, but um... well.... Mom and Dad. They're tired."

"So tell them to go to bed."

"No as in before i walked in those doors they were practically dead. Once we started talking and stuff the light came back. I think... i think maybe you guys should come over here using the transporters and maybe we can stay for a little while, just like a couple days. Everyone can come... well i mean if they don't all hate me at this point an-"

"Wait wait wait. What do you mean Hate you? They're all woried sick about you! Especially Noah and Evie and Nat! We'll be over there in a jiff and we'll bring an extra bracelet for you gotta go pack, Bye!"

"Leia, Wa-" I hung up and ran over to Chale waking him up, surprised he hadnt woken up at my screaming. I told him everything, and we flew back to the house waking everyone up. Once they all heard the news we were packing and running up the the transported room. I popped another bracelet in my bag for Syd before putting on mine and appearing in the throne room. Soon everyone was there and Percy and Noah were gaping at the throne room. as soon as i saw Syd running down i raced over to hug her. She laughed and hugged back. It was strange seeing her back in a dress.

The Dress was light blue and one shouldered. It went down to the floor and had lace covering the top kind of like a one shouldered shawl. She had paired it with a pair of light blue sandals. Her hair was braided over the top with the blue streaks in her hair popping out. Her eyes were a deep shade of blue, almost the color of the Aethen Sea.

Everyone else came over and hugged her too, turning it into one big group hug. After talking with my parents and telling them the good news about Chale and I, we all headed to our rooms. We gave Noah and Percy two rooms in the north wing with the rest of the guys. The girls and i changed into our clothes. It was just us four and Nat and Evie since Libby had to go down the Phoenix because she started her summer college courses at ASU. 

Nat wore an ice blue gown that poofed out from the waist down and had snowflakes traveling down as a result of her powers and a pair of ice blue flats. She had her hair curled and up in a bun with some stray pieces framing her face.

Evie had on a Dark blue one shoulder gown with a belt around the middle and had paired it with some gold sandals. Her hair was curled and she had left it down.

Alex had put on a Dark green one shoulder dress with leaves on the sleeve and around her waist the shoes she wore were a pair of gold flats. She had her hair in a fishtail braid with some of the streaks of green and gold loose.

Tess wore a red dress with a gold belt that traveled up her back to form a sleeve of sorts with which she was wearing a pair of brown flats. Her red hair was left in its normal ponytail.

I had put on a light brown dress with tank top sleeves and ruffles along the bottom, along with a pair of white flats. My hair was in a simple side ponytail.

We all had converged outside in the hallway. As we walked downstairs, I noticed Percy and Noah gawking at Nat and Syd... Oooh! Matchmaker matchmaker .... I thought. As soon as we got down though, Chale, Liam, and Nathaniel's eyes were bugging out of their skulls. I also thought i saw one of the royal guards staring at Evie. But i knew that she still really liked Quiffy, or Zayn as i had discovered. Once we met our parents downstairs, i could see the life flooding back into their faces. One week. And then... We'd go home, and visit a lot more frequently... A LOT.
