I ran over to Leia and Lottie, crying. If we hadn't been so selfish all that time ago none of this would have ever happened. Leia was breathing, but Lottie's breath was shallow and little. "We need to get them inside." I said. Chale picked up Leia and Stripes picked up Lottie. Only us girls knew how to heal dark magic, and Leia was slightly preoccupied at the moment. Stripes laid Lottie down on the couch and Chale put Leia on the other couch. Sydney and Tessa Walked over and i took a look at her side. Her veins were popping out and were black. The area was a grey color and her face was deathly pale. I lit my hand up with light magic and moved it over her side. It lightened up a little but was still grey. i grimaced knowing what we would have to do. You see, dark magic this deep leaves a stain on a person. It's permanet. She would have to deal with the pain for the rest of her life, which would only be about 5 years, max. It drains the life force. it would be a slow and painful death. "Guys i think you should leave." I told the others. "No. No no no no no no no she- she can't." Stripes stuttered out. my salty tears were falling down my face as i sat with my chin in my hands. Liam and Chale led everyone out of the room and into the Library. How would we tell Leia? Her Parents? We had to let her spirit go. "Alex. It's gonna be okay." I gasped. Lottie was clutching my hand weakly. She gave me a small smile. "Tell... Tell Leia, that she's the best best friend anyone could ever have. And Louis, stripes, tell him that he's not half bad. and my parents. tell them i love them so much and-" She started coughing and hacking. We were all sobbing now."And that i could have never made it through life without them. I love you guys!" she choked out. "We love you too." I said. She nodded and her eyes glazed over. I closed her eye lids and passed light magic over her body. "Atum legwa vertran" Her soul pulled out of her body and for a moment she turned and smiled at us. Then she rose up into the blue sky. "Wha- What's going on?" Leia asked sitting up. Then she saw Lottie's body on the couch. "Oh my gods No." I choked back my tears. "She died protecting you, Leia." She ran to her side and hugged her, sobbing. We all did the same, and it started raining. and for one moment I felt a breeze pass over us. as though she was saying her last goodbye.

The room is filled with people she loves.

and She whispers 'Don't cry for me i'll see you all someday.'

She looks up and says. "I can see God's face.'

This was my temporary home.

It's not where i belong.

Windows and rooms that i'm passing through.

This was just a stop on the way to where im goin'

I'm not afraid because i know. This was my temporary home.

Today was Lottie's funeral. I didn't know if i could handle it. I got up slowly and walked into my closet, eyes cast downwards. I took out my black dress with a gold belt and a pair of black flats. My elemental ring's branches where intertwined and black as night. I took a shower and got dressed, leaving my hair down. I walked downstairs and saw Tessa in the kitchen wearing a black and red dress and red boots. I got a cup of coffee and sat down next to her in a sad silence. Syd soon joined us in a Grey dress and black heels. Everyone started filing in, an ocean of blackness. It was almost time to go and then the clicking of heels against the hardwood floor interrupeted the peircing silence. Leia stood in a pink dress and white high heels. Her hair was up in a braid bun and she was holding a pink clutch. "Let's go." She said quietly as she walked out to her car. We all got into cars and drove to the church.
