After that Melissa smiled and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Alex cursed and stood up. "We have to be ready for anything." She said. She then spun around on her heel to face the wide eyed Curly, Stripes, Blondie, and Quiffy. I couldn't help but laugh at Curly's awestruck face. "And YOU need to go back to.... whereever you are from." Blondie looked up. "But we want to Help." "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." Syd shouted They all looked at her in confusion. I then stepped forward. "You can help..... If you can complete a challenge." They stopped mid cheer and looked at me warily. "Curly, with me, Stripes, with Lottie, Quiffy, with Libby, and Blondie, with Syd. You have to beat us in a duel. Weapons, Elements, Light magic. anything." I handed them each a ring. "Curly you have Ash manipulation, Stripes, Dust Manipulation, Blondie, Cloud manipulation, Quiffy, Storm Manipulation. You already have some weapons, if you can beat us, then you can help. If you can't, you go back." Their eyes were wide as we walked to the elevator. Once we got in I pressed the button to go to the Elemental Playground level. I had found an option to clear the space so that it was just a big open space to use for dueling. As soon as we got to the level, I cleared the space and Curly and I went first. I took out my knife and threw it at him. He ducked and rolled. I then used my element and Iced the floor. He went sliding. I rolled my eyes. He used his ash and covered the floor, which stopped him from sliding. "Good." I called out. He looked up and sent a dagger spiraling at me. I threw up and Ice barrier. It would have impaled my eye had i not thrown up the barrier. "Nice Aim!" I walked out and threw and Ice spike at him. He made a hand out of Ash the grabbed it and twisted it flying back to me. I ducked and rolled off to the side. He sent an ash spike at me and I froze it mid-air. This continued for a while until we both collapsed of exhaustion. I couldn't believe it. No one other than the group had ever kept me on my toes that much. I got up and reached a hand down to him. He took it and we shook. Syd was glaring at me. I simply shrugged at her as she walked past me with Blondie. I figured she would kick his arse. He obviously was very stratigic, as he was able to make it through the duel without being strangled. I figured he was dead meat when she shot a stream of water at him and he caught it all in a cloud and shot it right back at her. Soaking her to the skin. It was the same with Lottie and Quiffy and Libby and Stripes. Fabulous. Why did I do this again. We grudgingly accepted their help. Except Liam. Liam jumped up and down like a little kid and hugged them all. The rest of us stood around kind of awkwardly. " Ok we need to start Prepping for Battle. Liam with me, we'll get the Library set up Blondie, Curly, Quiffy, Stripes, Evie, Nat, Syd, Lottie, Libby, you go get weapons, Tessa, Nath, you seal off the bottom half of the house, Leia, Chale, you seal off the top half." Alex said, going all commander-like. We walked down to the main armory downstairs. We started grabbing our weapons and ones for everyone else. We went upstairs to Join the others in the Library. Once we all got there we strapped on our weapons. "Ok so I've figured out that we need to let them bring the battle to us. We have an advatage on home ground. Base is Here, Syd, Evie, Nat, you guys take the waterfall. You are stronger there. Liam and I will take the Forest. Lottie, Leia, Chale, Blondie, Quiffy you take hold up in the sky. Tessa, Libby, Nath, Curly, Stripes, you take hold around the house. Make sure they don't get past this perimeter 5 miles from the house. You either turn it around or turn it to ash. The house is sealed up completely. Lets go." Alex said forming a quick and stratigic plan. We had to change into battle clothes. I threw my hair up into an Iced ponytail and changed my clothes to a pair of light blue denim shorts and a blue and white striped t-shirt. Stripes started to make a snarky comment on it and I sent and Ice blast at him. He shut up pretty quickly. We walked out and stood out by the waterfall. I heard a rumbling noise and bent down I placed my hand on the ground. They were coming.

Sorry I haven't been writing as often. My family and I have been having some issues and I feel like everyone hates me at the moment so please forgive me if this chapter came out really crappy.
