Chapter 12

I was moved back farther when people came rushing over to see what was going on. Robbie was the first to be there. He took one look at Trever and looked at me. He was about to charge but Jared held him back.

"Why did you hit him?!" Robbie yelled. I looked at him. Terror writen all over my face.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly.

"Youre turning into your mother, Abigail," He said.

"NO! I'M NOT TURNING INTO MY MOTHER! I DONT GO AROUND ABUSING PEOPLE FOR FUN! I WOULDNT SHOOT MY OWN DAUGHTER JUST BE CAUSE MY HUSBAND LEFT! I AM NOTHING LIKE MY MOTHER!" everybody backed up, startled by my sudden outburst. I saw a boy a little older than me across the street walking this way. I suddenly knew who it was.

"Oh god," I said and ran away.

"Abigail!" Luke yelled. I ran faster.

I turned to see he was running too and he wasnt far behind. I ran faster. Apparently I wasnt fast enough because he caught up to me and grabbed me by my waist.

"What is this about?" he asked. "Why did I get a call from your principle saying you got in a fight at school?

"On my defence, he hit me first," I said pointing to Trever, who was still on the ground. Luke walked over to Trever and gasped.

Luke POV

I cant believe she beat up a kid. I turned to look at him and gasped.

"You did this?" I asked without turning around. There was no awnser. I turned around and saw Abigail running again. This time she had a farther head-start. I decided to just take the car home. She needs some time to cool down.
