"Are you going to the party tonight?"

"Dude the party is going to be so awesome!"

"Didn't you get invited?"

That's all I have been hearing all day! It's so freaking annoying!

Trever is throwing a party tonight. Jared asked me to go but I decided against it. Trever would probably kill me.

If I dont go I will be an even bigger "scaredy cat". But if I do go Trever will drag me out by my teeth.

I will just have to think about it the rest of the day.

Jared sat by me at lunch and we talked. It wasn't one of those awkward silence lunches.

"So are you still not going to the party tonight?" he asked. Good question. I thought to myself.

"I'm still thinking about it."

"Well it would be fun. You should come," he urged.

"I have to go to class," I said. "I'll text you if I decide to go to the party."

"Okay. See'a," he waved.

The rest of the day I couldn't concentrate. I had to make up my mind. I had like 15 minutes to decide.

I finally just made up my mind.

When I walked out of the school guess who I saw eagerly waiting for me. Jared.

"Are you going?"

"Yes. Now calm yourself!" He jumped up and down like a five year old girl who found out that she was going to a Justin Bieber concert.

I walked home and climbed through my window.

The party was at 9:00 so I had plenty of time to get ready. I decided to grab a book and go to the park. I grabbed the book Adiős to My Old Life.

I got to the park and sat under the Willow. I opened up to page 67 and began reading.

***

After about an hour and a half of reading I put the bookmark in on the same page and put my head back. I hadn't read much but I just wanted to relax.

I listened to the birds, the wind, the twigs snapping.... Twigs snapping?

I turned around to see Robbie coming down a hill by the tree. I pulled my legs to my chest hoping that the Willow vines will be long enough to hide me.

He started to lift up the vines and walked in. He came and sat right by me.

"What do you want Robbie?" I asked without emotion.

"Well hello to you to," he said. "I just had a question."

"Ask away."

"Why did you pull away when I pulled up your sleeve?" he turned and looked at me. I took a deep breath and thought of a quick lie.

"I was uncomfortable," I said simply.

He nodded his head probably knowing I was lying. "Are you coming to the party tonight?"

"Yes."

"Great see you there," he smirked and walked off.

I looked at my phone to see it was 5:30. I must have been here longer than I thought. I got up and started home. I decided I would just eat at the nearest coffee shop. But first I needed money.

I climbed through my window quietly grabbed my wallet and climbed back down.

I walked to Carabou Coffee and ordered my stuff. When I sat down with a muffin and coffee I checked the time. 6:00. I still have plenty of time.

When I finished I walked home. It was I warm day. There was a 30% chance of rain though.

I climbed through my window and decided to pick out a dress.

I opened my closet and saw I had nothing in it. Guess I'm going out again. I grabbed my money that I got from working at Macy's and jumped out my window again.

I got to the mall and went to Forever 21. I saw the perfect dress right away. It was an aqua high low dress with ruffles at the top with a brown leather belt.

I practically ran to it.

"That would look good on you," said a voice from behind me.

"Really?"

"Totally!" she said. "I'm Lydia by the way."

"Abigail. Should I get it?" I asked.

"Yeah you'd look good."

"Ok just let me try it on." I walked to the dressing room and stripped out of my clothes. The dress fit perfectly. I walked out to show Lydia.

"Oh my god," she gasped. "You are so beautiful. You should know that."

I went to the counter and bought the dress. It was about 7:30 when I got home so I decided to get ready.

First I put on makeup. Then I got in my dress. Then I curled my hair and painted my nails. I looked alright. I grabbed a brown shawl to cover my wrists.

I was ready for the party.
