Get a pencil
And a canvas,
And draw these:
A store with hung dresses
And displayed sandals;
The vendor at the left,
Holding a bottle of Coke
And putting bread
Into his mouth;
A child at the right,
Wearing a worn-out shirt and pants,
Looking grimly at the store,
Touching his abdomen,
Barefoot.
Do not add any color
For I see no beauty in it.
