“Okay ka na ba?” Ysabel asked. “Mag-ingat ka ha. Baka mamaya ma-bully ka na naman.”

“I’m actually expecting worse than this. Okay lang yun.”

“Malaman ko lang kung sino yung mga nagbuhos sa’yo ng orange juice, makakatikim sila sa akin!” Ysabel is effin’ mad, pero bigla siyang napatigil sa paglalakad. “Ela, ela! Look, that guy! Siya yung kasama mo sa detention kahapon!”

Napatingin ako kung saan nakatingin si Ysabel. Ohh, siya pala. Super puti niya, matangos ang ilong at maliit at pinkish ang lips. At ang kapal ng buhok niya! I could say he’s handsome compared to our other classmates, but who knows, he might be a product of plastic surgery.

“Pustahan tayo nagpa-retoke na yan.” Sabi ko kay Ysabel.

“P-pwede? Pero, kahit na. Hindi na mahalaga yun! Ang mahalaga gwapo siya!”

*toink*

“Aray! Ano ba naman Ela joke lang eh. Huhu. Maiwan na nga kita rito. Mag-ingat ka sa mga bully ha!”

Ngumiti ako kay Ela sabay tumakbo na siya. Magkaiba kasi kami ng section. 3-2 siya samantalang 3-3 ako. Oo na, she’s smarter than me. T^T Pero kidding aside, sa mas mataas na sections kasi nilalagay ang mga exchange students.

So far, my second day’s fine. No bullies! Or they’re preparing to give me a bigger fiasco?

Since my professor dismissed our class early, and since we don’t have school clubs yet, umupo muna ako sa bleachers sa may oval habang hinihintay si Ysabel. Madilim na rin kasi 7PM na. Yup, we go to school at 8AM, lunch at 12PM. Go back to school at 2PM and go home at 9PM.

“THIS IS THE LIFE OF A KOREAN HIGH SCHOOL-ER! CONGRATULATIONS!” I shouted.

Not far from where I was sitting, someone stood up from a… sleep? Oops! Did I shout too loud? @_@

Oh em. Kilala ko to ah! Siya yung detention buddy ko kahapon! @_@

He looked at me and caught me looking at him. I avoided his stare but I already hear his footsteps getting closer to where I am sitting.

“WERE YOU BORN TO DISTURB ME EVERYTIME I’M SLEEPING?”

Sorry naman! I thought I was alone the whole time. T^T

“WERE YOU BORN TO SLEEP EVERYWHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO GO?” I answered.

Natahimik siya. I didn’t know I can still manage to cut off bullies. ^_^

He grinned and sat beside me. I moved a little away from him.

“Why were you looking at me? You find me handsome don’t you?”

“EXCUSE ME!” Ang kapal naman pala nito @_@

“I’m not even talking to you. Haha!” Tumawa siya sabay turo dun sa babaeng kumukuha ng picture naming dalawa sa may ibaba ng bleachers. “Neon buas-seo. Kkeo-jeo!” (I saw you. Go away!)

ARAY. NAPAHIYA NAMAN AKO DUN T^T

“So you were really looking at me?” He laughed.

Ysabel! Asan ka na ba? Save me please T^T

“NO!” I answered defensively. Tumawa lang ng tumawa ang loko. @_@ “Uhm, can I ask something? Why is that girl taking pictures of you? I haven’t seen you on TV so I’m sure you’re not an artist. Then, who are you?”

“Oh..”

“Oh?”

“Se..”

“Se?”

“Hun..”

“Hun? Oh Se Hun?” And he nodded.

“And you?” He asked.

“Ela. Ela Martinez.”

“Ela. Nice name.” Then he laughed again.

Ano ba to tawa ng tawa @_@

“Ja. It’s almost 8PM!” Napatingin ako sa relos ko. Omg! Bakit wala pa rin si Ysabel T^T “I have to go now. I still have to go somewhere. But since we’re already friends, I’ll give you an early gift.”

Friends? Gift? Is he nuts? Nagkausap lang kami, friends na agad?! @_@

He handed me a picture.

Teka, picture niya to ah? Tapos may signature sa likod? Feeling artista lang ang peg?

“What is this for? I don’t need this!” Binalik ko sa kanya yung picture niya. Nakakainis. Feeling ata nito may gusto ako sa kanya!

“You don’t like it?” He pouted. “Keep it, okay? It’s my selca, and you also have my signature.”

“What am I going to do with this?” I asked sarcastically.

“Just keep it. You’ll regret not taking it if you give it back. It will be of good use in the future.” He smiled. “An-nyeong! Da-um si-gan-e bua-yo!” (Bye! See you next time!) And he ran away from me.

Tinignan ko yung picture. Ang gwapo pero naiinis lang ako. Pagsisisihan ko raw pag di ko kinuha? Eh kung ibigay ko kaya to sa mga stalker niya!

Pero teka, hindi niya sinagot yung tanong ko kung bakit kinukuhanan siya ng picture nung schoolmate namin ah?
