Madison's ride to school was somber and silent. She had told her parents everything that was happening and they were doing their best to make her happy and give her positive vibes. She knew her business was separate from theirs and she didn't really wanna bother them too much which what was going on in her own life so she said she would take it upon herself to figure things out with her friends. The teenager was displaying that she was truly responsible and independent, her parents admired that. She met with the rest of Legion in the cafeteria, her boyfriend joined along with Chad. "He's at home and his parents are doing everything that they can, we're not allowed to visit him." Eddie sighed, sadly. "Forreals?" Chad raised his eyebrows and Legion all nodded, smiles not present on any of their faces. All of them were incredibly worried about Ivan, they believed in him, strongly. What Leah said to Madison last night was repeating in the icy girl's head, she prayed he would come back because Ivan and her did not end on such...decent terms, and the rest of Legion knew that themselves.

"What are you all going to do without him now?" Joseph inquired and most of them shrugged, "We're going to do what we can, Ivan wouldn't want us to do nothing, he would want us to press on with the plan." Answered Nathaniel and the rest agreed with his proposition. "Stop talking about him like he's dead, word your sentences better." Madison retorted, her expressions were filled with anger and anxiousness.

Nathaniel didn't reply and just looked down. "They'll all pay for what they've done." Declared Leah. "Especially Brandy." Eddie confirmed.

Haley came running to them, out of breath. "Guys. I have something to tell you all. I went to my lab room in my house this morning to hide away the power dampener and it was gone, the last person I was with before this morning was Marc and it had to be him." Legion all shot up and looked at each other. "Did you see him at all this morning?" Jeno asked and Haley shook her head. All of Haley's anger towards Jeno was gone and she knew she owed him an apology for not trusting his instincts.

"Damn it." Nathaniel cussed out, audibly. "We need to get it back and fast before the Phantom finish it." Madison sternly stated and turned to Haley, "First off, how far was the device finished?"

"It was halfway done, all I needed to add was a heat module and a concoction with it that Jaden gave me." The human girl answered back. "Concoction? What concoction?" Jeno needed more answers so he could piece everything together. The heat module was enough to know that it was obviously to weaken Madison, but the concoction is what had him and the others confused. "I—I don't know, she wouldn't tell me."

"Guess we'll find out when we steal it right?" Eddie gave the others a shrug and they just nodded back. "Yeah, but when are we stealing it?" Jeno asked, "Tonight. We steal it tonight but need to do something about it after we do so, we need to destroy it." Madison replied back to the boy next to her.

"Sounds like a plan then." Leah approved. The bell sounded and they all headed to their first period. They knew they couldn't be somber for as long as Ivan was out unconscious, they knew they had to be strong for him. On the way to class, Eddie and Jeno would crack some jokes here and there to brighten the mood for the group. Their jokes did work, they always had new ones to tell about. Some were cheesy and some were just plain stupid, but it made the others smile nonetheless.

Before they were about to enter their physics classroom, someone caught a grip on Madison' hand. She recoiled and looked back to see who it was, it was Marc. "The hell do you want? You wanna fight now?" The rest of Legion noticed shortly after Madison did and became defensive of the shortest girl in the group. "No...I just, I just want to talk, alone." The water bender emphasized, telling the rest of her group to leave them be, and they did so. Marc brought her to a far corner where there was hardly anyone.
