Yells were being heard throughout the whole field while Mia and Athena watched the war commence from the trees. Mia looked through her scope and looked around in it, watching all the Legion members fight their chosen opponents. Athena was crouched down and waited for the right time to jump in and help the others. The four-hundred fire soldier army spread around the field and started to attack all of the Legion members while they took on the Phantom members.

Eddie and Marc charged at Michael but before they could even reach him he was gone. The speedster was already behind both of them and kicked them in the backs, making them stumble forward. The two Legion members looked at each other with worried eyes, with how fast Michael was, they didn't know if they would be able to fight him easily. The speedster wasn't called Mach for no reason.

Michael zoomed in front of them and punched them in the face, then in the back again. It went like that for a few minutes and while they were just quick strikes, they hurt like hell for the Legion members. Eddie and Marc were back to back as Michael ran in a circle around them, creating a whirlwind. The two Legion members shielded their eyes from the dust the rose from the ground and in the air. Blindly, Marc created a circular wave of water, gathering the dust in it before spreading it outward and it hit Michael, making him stumble back this time. Eddie got the idea, they needed to create surface wave attacks where they got outward in a circular radius so they can hit Michael easily, instead of waiting for the right time or calculating his movements which could possibly take a while.

Michael goes with his signature plan and simply decides to run around and hit them so they can't do the same to him Marc was getting frustrated, both him and Eddie were swinging their weapons around blindly, hoping to hit Michael. "On three...surface wave." Eddie notified Marc who gave a curt nod in return. On three they performed a surface wave; Marc hit the ground with the bottom of his trident and Eddie did the same but with his foot. They had created an electric water wave that was sent outward from them, fortunately it didn't affect them. Eddie was not allowed to be in large areas of water or he would affect those in it and Marc was supposed to avoid being in the large areas of water in case something tainted it, affecting him.

The speedster fell on one leg as he shook a bit, the joules of electricity surging through his body. He let out a grunt as he felt that stinging pain. Marc walked towards Michael, pointing the sharp end of his trident at him, "Come on, is this what you're going to keep doing? Are you going to keep running away from your problems? Fight me like a fucking man, you coward." Michael scoffed as he slowly stood up, unsheathing his mace from its holder. "Says the guy who couldn't fight his battles on his own. He always has to drag people down with him."

Michael clashes weapons with Marc as Eddie tried to hold off fire soldiers that were trying to attack both him and Marc. "I still can't believe you're going through all of this with Jaden. You do her wrong when she's done nothing but love you." Marc pushed forward with his trident only to be pushed back by Michael, "Ever heard of the concept of someone only wanting another for their power?" The speedster chuckled under his breath before speeding around Marc and knocking him with his mace in the back of his head.

Power and control, that's all Michael wanted from Jaden, not love. It was all an act and she was oblivious to that fact.

Marc fell to the floor, coughing as he felt blood dripping down the back of his head. Before Michael could land another hit on him, Eddie knocked him away with a lightning wave and sent him into a handful of fire soldiers. The electromaniac helped the water bearer onto his feet who began to recollect himself and get his head back in the game. Eddie stepped away from Marc quickly and began to perform a last minute thing he didn't know would work or not.
