Jack's POV
One month later, December 21 2017
Finn and I were so immersed in our sleep that neither of us heard our phones exploding with messages throughout the night. I finally woke up in Finn's arms at 9:00 AM and checked my phone as I do every morning. When I saw the many texting notifications on my lock screen I didn't think anything of it but I opened them in case it was important.

SophiaLillis: Hey guys...
SophiaLillis: Have either of you heard from Jaeden or Wyatt lately?
SophiaLillis: Guys!?
SophiaLillis: It's important!!
SophiaLillis: They won't answer me..

SophiaLillis: ???
Me: Sophia, calm down. I'm sure they're fine.
SophiaLillis: You finally answered!!! Have you heard from them??
Me: No, but I'll text them.
SophiaLillis: Where's Finn?
Me: Still sleeping
SophiaLillis: Wake him up and let me know if Jaeden or Wyatt answers.
Conversation with WyattOleff and JaedenWesley
Me: Hey guys!! Are you alright?
Me: Guys!!
Me: Please answer. Sophia is worried that something happened to you guys!
Me: Answer please??
Me: Please?
Now I was worried, at least I know that they are alive. Finn was still sleeping calmly next to me so I softly nudged him until he opened his eyes.
"Hey Jackie," he said to me with a smile, "what time is it?"
"A little after 9. Have you heard from Jaeden or Wyatt recently?
"Not for a few days. Why?"
"They're not answering any texts and Sophia is freaking out," I explained.
"Now that you mention it they did seem a little off last time we talked."
"Check your phone, Sophia's been messaging both of us."
"Okay." Finn picked up his phone and gasped. He started texting and them my phone dinged. I picked up my phone.
Conversation with SophiaLillis and FinnWolfhard
FinnWolfhard: Hey, sorry, I was asleep.
SophiaLillis: Have you guys heard anything. They won't answer Chosen or Jeremy either.
Me: That's so weird.
Me: I texted them but they haven't said anything.
FinnWolfhard: Do you want to meet at my house and we can figure out what to do?
SophiaLillis: Sure. I'll text Chosen and Jeremy. See you in ten.
"Well, let's get ready. They're probably just fucking or something," Finn said and I chuckled at the thought.
Finn and I quickly got changed. Soon after we heard a knock on the door and ran down the stairs to get it. Of course it was Sophia, Chosen, and Jeremy.
"Sup guys," I said ushering them inside. They all just stared at me. At that moment I heard a ding coming from my pocket. I looked at my phone. It was from Jaeden.
Conversation with WyattOleff and JaedenWesley
JaedenWesley: Hey Jack..
Me: OMG! Where have you guys been!!!?
JaedenWesley: It's no big deal but I finally came out to my parents and they beat the shit out of me. I didn't know what to do. I've been with Wyatt since it happened yesterday.
Me: OMG! I'm so so sorry Jaeden. What are you gonna do?
JaedenWesley: Wyatt said I could stay with him but I don't know. I've been trying to get him to run away with me.
Me: Does he want to?
WyattOleff: I don't really but I will if that's what my Jae wants.
Me: Awe
JaedenWesley: Let's go?
WyattOleff: <3 <3 <3
JaedenWesley: Oh, and Jack.
Me: Yes?
JaedenWesley: Don't worry about us. And don't try to find us if we leave. Okay?
Me: Yeah, sure. Just be safe. I love you guys!
JaedenWesley: Love you too
WyattOleff: ^^
"Uh, guys," I said to the group still in front of me. "Jaeden just texted me."
"What??" everyone said in unison.
"Yeah, he said that he came out to his parents and they beat him and now he and Wyatt are going to run away."
"What??" again in unison.
"We have to stop them!" Sophia screamed running for the door. Luckily, I grabbed her arm just in time.
"I don't know guys, what if we should just let them. Maybe they will truly be happy. I can't imagine how it would be to not be accepted for who you are." I held onto Finn's hand as I said this.
"I sort of agree. I love Jaeden and Wyatt but I don't want them to get hurt for being themselves," Finn said as Chosen and Jeremy nodded.
"Uh, fine!" Sophia started. "You know what they say, 'if you love someone set them free.'"
"So you love them?" I asked giggling.
"Of course, they're my best friends."
"Just friends?" Finn asked.
"Yes!! God! They're gay," she screamed defensively. "And it's just a saying guys!" We all started laughing now. After a moment I stopped and couldn't help but wonder if they were going to be okay and if this was for the best. I shook the thought away and went back to laughing.
