Jack's POV

In the morning when Finn and I woke, I couldn't help but smile. Last night felt so unreal. We quickly got dressed and he gave me a kiss on the forehead smiling. Immediately after, we headed to Noah's room and knocked on the door before entering. Noah was just sitting up on his bed trying hard not to laugh while he stared at us.

"What's so funny?" I ask a little more defensively than I intended to.

"It's just, you guys do know that the walls are pretty thin right?"

"What are you talking about?" Finn asks trying to play dumb.

"Let's just say there was a lot of moaning coming from the guest room last night." Noah was trying unsuccessfully not to laugh.

"Shut up Noah," Finn responds playfully causing both boys to laugh as I blushed in embarrassment.

Finn's POV

One month later, July 2018

"Ready guys?" Noah asks us as we are about to leave his house. We were going to the movies with Gaten, Caleb, Sadie, and Millie. Jack and I both nod. We were still staying with Noah because we had no where else to go and we weren't leaving for another month. I still haven't told my mom about my dad knowing that she would be worried sick and want me home right away.

I think Jack is getting along with Noah a lot better now. Even if he didn't admit I could tell that he was jealous of the relationship that I had with Noah. They even talk and laugh when I'm not with them now which makes me feel a lot better about the situation, I mean, as long as Jack still loves me more because Joah/Nack is totally not cute.

When we finally got to the movies, I hugged everyone and we all ran inside. Noah said that he was going to pay for the tickets because it was his idea which made me feel bad but I wasn't going to interject. We decided to see the new Purge movie, The Purge: The Island. I was silently hoping that Jack would get scared and jump in my arms. I would make sure to protect my baby boy at all costs.

Almost as soon as the movie began, Jack jumped and buried his face into my chest and stayed there for most of the rest of the movie. It was so cute and innocent. He was holding my hand so hard that I could feel my blood flow get cut off but I didn't care as long as Jackie felt safe with me. Two hours later, when the movie ended, we all hurriedly got out of our seats and made our way outside. It was starting to get late and chilly and I noticed Jack shiver since he forgot to bring a jacket. I gave him mine immediately and he was thankful even though it was a size or two too big for him. He looked adorable in it.

"You looked pretty scared Jack," Caleb said as we walked to the car. Caleb finally had his license so he could drive us even though Noah, Jack, and I took an Uber to get here.

"What, I was not scared," Jack quickly exclaimed in protest eliciting a chuckle from me.

"Then why was your face in my chest the entire time baby," I asked him.

"Maybe I just wanted to be close to my boyfriend," he replied causing a few of the others to 'awe' like we were babies.

"Okay," I said trailing off and he playfully punched me in the arm walking away and pouting. Even when he was mad at me, he was so cute.

We all caught up to him and jumped in the car, Jack holding my hand knowing that I was right, that he was scared of the movie. Once Caleb started to drive off, I spoke up again.

"Hey Sadie," I started as she turned around to look at me, "I think I'm ready to get back at my dad." I was trembling. She gave me an evil grin; it was pretty creepy.

"Finally," she whispered from the front seat causing a chill to go down my spine. After a moment of awkwardness, she continued. "This is what we need to do."

I nodded hopping that this was going to be a good idea. Did I really need my revenge? I could just let it go and forget everything that happened. I never had to see him ever again if I didn't want to. Deep down, though, I knew that I had to do this to show him that he can't push me around anymore and that he will never be able to hurt me.

"First, we're going to his house," she said pulling out a small notepad with How to get back at Finn's asshole father plastered on the front. I couldn't help but laugh as Jack gripped my hand a little harder. "And you, alone, are going to knock on the door and face him," she continued but stopped when Jack screamed.

"No! He's not going to go in that house by himself. I won't let him." Tears were starting to pour from his sweet eyes, "I'll go with him."

"Fine," Sadie said clearly annoyed that we aren't following her plan completely step by step. "You and Jack will knock on the door and when he answers barge your way into the house and taunt him telling him that this is who you are and that this is who you have and always will be." I swallowed trying to believe that I could face that monster again.

"Tell him off and do whatever you need to in order to show him that he hasn't hurt you and that he could never hurt you. If he gets violent though, get the fuck out of there." She finished and my mouth was dead dry. Was I really going to do this and was I really going to put Jack in danger just to get some sort of twisted satisfaction.

"That's it?" I finally say and Sadie nods putting the notepad away and turning back around to face the road. Jack turned me toward him and gave me a sweet kiss, with fear lacing his eyes.

"Are you sure about this Finnie," he asks me and I simply nod. "Then I'm going to be by your side the entire time. I will always be with you, forever." I kissed him again and thanked him when I heard Sadie's voice again.

"We're doing this tomorrow."
