Weight of Magic: Dreams become Destiny

Yeah...

Jia woke. Her eyes flashed grey then normal blue. She coughed. Her gas mask was still on. Sin heads into the school, he reaches Niko dorm, he looks at Niko on the ground, picks him up bridal style, and whispers, "Not day bud..."

Jia looks at Ellie. "Damn it." She mutters. Niko groans and shifts in Sin's arms. Sin ran out of the building questioning what would happen if Niko woke up. Sin laid Niko on the ground and headed back into the crowd, some kids were taking off their gas masks while teacher yelled at them to put them back on, other teachers were trying to freshen up the air, and get rid of the remains of the gas. Jia stood. She looked back at the school. Ellie looked at Jia. "How are you feeling? Are you still breathing well? If you are good I'm going back in there to make sure others are okay"

Jia looked back at Ellie. She still had her gas mask on. "I'm good. I can come with. Clear the air." She says. "yeah why not. " Ellie said put her mask back on and ran in. Jia took the gas mask off. "Elemental Demonic God Air Bubble." She ran after Ellie. Ellie busted open other dorms and so far it looked like everyone has evacuated. There was one boy who looked to be dead. His skin was purple and he hasn't been breathing long. "Crap. " Ellie muttered. Ellie made a stretcher out of gold and placed him on it. Jia ran after Ellie. "Elemental Demonic God Air Cleaner." She said. As she ran along the air cleared around her. But in seconds it uncleared. It wasn't the best way but it was better than a water bubble.

Ellie started to drag him out of the dorm room. Ellie didn't need the mask anymore either. Jia suddenly felt someone appear beside her. Kuki. "Hey. Came to help clear air." Kuki quickly stated. Jia nodded. The bond with the Elemental Quadrant, Yumi and her Mom had been repaired, but not so easily. If it hadn't been repaired then Kuki wouldn't be helping and a lot of things would be different. Ellie dragged him outside. A lot of kids were outside to. Some on stretchers and others chatting in groups. Some were in shock. Brought the boy and started talking and doing the basics.
"Can you hear me? Squeeze my hand if you do." Ellie said.
A light squeeze. Impossible. Ellie smiled at the boy. "you are a fighter aren't you." She muttered.  
Ellie raised her hand and teacher rushed over. "He's barely alive." Ellie said.

Jia ran still down the halls. She found a boy passed out on the ground. Kuki made a stretcher of cloud like material and picked up the boy. Jia nodded. Kuki ran back down the hall, the stretcher flying beside her. Niko moaned as he regained consciousness. He coughed and pushed himself up with hooded eyes. Ellie noticed Niko. "Welcome to the living." She said some what sarcastic. Niko blinked. He still couldn't see very well. "Ellie?" Niko asks. Jia found a girl laying on the ground. She created a stretcher out of cloud and rock and put the girl on it. "luckily for you Sin ran in there and saved yours and Jias butt." Ellie continued on saying.

Kirk and Drew came out of the school just now. Niko’s family, well grad guests, spent the summer with Niko, which meant all of his guests were probably in the school. And who knows if they all got out. Drew coughs and Kirk had to hold him up. "Where is Sin?" Niko asks. "I'm not sure.  I ran inside when he dropped you off." Ellie said. Niko bit his lip. "Ah. Geez." He says, propping himself up on his elbows. Kirk and Drew wobble over to Ellie and Niko. Jia rolled the stretcher down to the doors. She rolled the stretcher out. A large group that had several stretchers ushered Jia over. The medical students of the university. "Leave the stretcher here. Go get more students. We'll help her." One of the students says. Jia nods and rushed back inside. A student drags Reeve and Astra out of the school and places them outside. Drew whispers something to Kirk, and he drags his friend over to the couple. They are still unconscious. Ellie raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I'll be leaving." Ellie muttered. Niko looks around frantically. "Where's my father?" He asks worriedly.

Kirk dropped Drew beside Niko and went to get Reeve and Astra. He hoisted them up over each of his shoulders and walked towards the group of medical students. Ellie shrugged. "He's probably... Dead? You know main character kind of thing... Yep...  Bye!" Ellie walked away. Jia scrambles back into the building. Niko waved goodbye and kept snapping his head around, though all he could see were blobs of colour. Ellie looked at Jia. "Jia you don't need to go back in there. I'm sure you got everyone." But Ellie doesn't want to talk so she just ignores and Jia was already inside. Niko finally found his father. He stumbled and wobbled towards him, but he knows what they're going to tell him.

Niko's father lays on the ground. Unbreathing. Niko sighs and puts a hand on his chest. "Goodnight, and goodbye." He mumbles. Jia reached the floor her dorm was on. Sin was curled up, alone in the field right next to their school. "It's all my fault... If I caught up to her than this would've never happened..." Sin mumbled still dazed. "I'm sorry." says one of the students looking over him. Niko looks up at them. A tall and lean boy. Nix. Niko nods at Nix and stumbled away, tripping. Nix runs after Niko, catching him as he falls face-first.

Jia suddenly heard a small crash. From her dorm. She shook her head and ran back outside. Everyone had cleared out. Ellie rubbed her head. Zelda was here and she is alive. That's all Ellie needed to know. She rubbed her red beanie on her head. Ellie walked in the Field with her hand in her jeans pocket. The grass is dry.

Niko leans against Nix, barely conscious. "Lucky I was out of the school when it happened." Nix murmured, dragging Niko out to the field nearby the school. Jia nodded as she exited. She ran to the principal. "Do we need a mass air clear?" She asked. The principal brushed her hair. "Nu. We need search." She said with weird thick accent that Jia never had noticed. "we need search for the person who did this.”

Sin stood up wiped his eyes, took off his gas mask. Niko sits on the ground, rubbing his head. Thoughts spun through his head. Nix stood beside him, in case he wanted to stand. A few minutes after, Kirk drags Drew along and Reeve carries Astra over. Ellie walked through the Field. She noticed Niko and a weird kid and Sin. Right now Ellie only can see them as strangers. They haven't talked in months or... Since last graduation. So talking to them is awkward.

The only memory Jia had, had with this principal was when Jia tried to murder Sin. She only had a few with the old one who had been killed during the Akuma war. Niko leans against Nix’s leg tiredly. Nix looks down at his "friend" and pats his head. Zelda was standing on top of the school watching over them. She hurt but they hurt her. Ellie looked around. Zelda... She can feel her soul. She is somewhere. "She's here" Ellie muttered. She put her hands in her hoodie and lowered her beanie. Sin screamed out, "Zelda! You can't leave me, again!"

Niko then suddenly lays down onto the grass, fluttering his eyes closed. Ellie listened to Sin. Zelda used the same sphere thing to teleport away. Ellie looked at Niko. Jia nodded to the principal. "I'll do a fly around." She said. "Elemental Demonic God, Wings open." She said. Jia's wings were grey now but light grey. Oh, if you haven't noticed, Jia's magic changed. She went through with the power masher and became a Elemental Demonic God Slayer instead of a Elemental God Slayer and Demon Slayer. "what kids." Ellie muttered and walked away. Sin took deep breaths, he was okay, she was alive, that's good.
