"Hmm.." Ko murmured and then left the room. He came back with a small vial of sunshine yellow liquid. Ni clapped. "A wake-up potion." Ko explained. Siona nods. "Well put it to her lips or something." She jumps on the bed and sits beside Jia. Ko nods. He strolls over to Jia's bed and tips the vial into her mouth. Jia's lips close when the potion pours into her mouth. Her breathing becomes stronger. Her eyes begin to flutter. Ni and Ko both freeze like a deer in headlights.
"Jia?" Siona mumbles. She looks at Jia. Jia's eyes finally open all the way. She coughs. A little bit of blood and potion splat onto her chest. Ni and Ko smile. Siona blinks. Ni runs over to Jia and hugs her tightly. "Guguh-nen jinja musuhwuh!" Ni mumbles through tears. Jia had sat up before Ni had come over. "That is really scary!" Siona translates. Jia blinks. Her vision is blurring in and out. Ko gives a little nod. He doesn't admit it, but he was terrified. Jia's vision finally focuses. "I'm not in the basement." She says, relieved. Ni nods. "Yeah, uh, we went and found you and stuff. Siona duped this one demon and we got away." Ko mumbles. Ni has a big bruise on his cheek and Ko has one to match.
Siona nods to her bandage. Jia's eyes well over. She begins to cry. Then sob. Ko freaks out on the inside. "Jia! Jia! N-no need to cry." Ko frets. Ni hugs Jia tighter. Jia closes her eyes. Her tears are thick and glossy. One lands on Ni's shoulder. "T-thank you." Jia stutters, sobbing still. Ko bites his lip. He awkwardly shifts out of the room. Once he's out, he rushes back to Niko's dorm. Ni uses his chubby little hands to try and wipe away some of Jia's tears. His sleeve soaks up the thick tears.
Jia lets out a small smile. "Thank you." She repeats once, then several times. Jia doesn't notice Siona jump from the bed and walk out of the door after Ko. When in the hall, Siona takes her human form and runs to Niko's dorm after Ko. Ko shuts and locks the door. He crumples the the ground. "Frick." He whispers before passing out. Siona reaches the door just as Ko shuts it. She goes to knock, but then shakes her head. "Ko!" She just shouts. "KO!" She shouts again. No response. She becomes concerned.
Ni stops hugging Jia and returns to his chair. Jia weakly stands after Ni went to his chair. Her whole body shakes. She lets out a deep breath. "Siona must have returned to mental state." She mutters. "Where'd Ko go?" Jia asked, grabbing the wall for balance. She looked at the chair Ni was sitting in. Her desk chair. A short back, black rolly chair. If she was feeling better she would have rolled him around her dorm as if he was a young child. Ni shrugged. He kicked his legs like an impatient child. A paper flies off of Jia's desk. A document. Jia was already planning her move to a bigger apartment in the city. She had her learner's license, which she had taken a test for as quickly as she could when she originally came to Spring Blossom. Now all Jia needed was her actual Driver's license then it would all be set and she could perfectly live in the city with hassle. But why did she want to move out of these basically free with school dorms? Because, she needed space and just because she needed a change.
There are stacks of paper on Niko's desks. Files on different apartments, hand drawn comparisons and charts,as well as notes, a form signed and filed out with a envelope stapled to it. A small apartment. Just in case. Jia walked over to the paper, almost tripping when she leans over, and picks it up. She places it nearly on the thin stack of papers for the apartment. She looks back at Ni. A Bird flies by Jia's window. Ni bites his lip. "I can speak English." He squeaked.
Jia's eyes widen. "Wowie." She says. "Yeah. And would you believe it if I told you that Ko wasn't the depressed part of Niko?" Ni asked. He hopped off of the chair and headed for the door. Jia blinks. "Wait, what?" She walked behind Ni. "Yeah, I thought so." Ni said, leaving the room. He sped down the halls. Out of the school. Jia was all alone. She stood there in shock. The air nipped at her skin. Cold air. "What do you want." Jia snaps. A figure forms behind Jia, a cloak covering their face. "You're all alone little Ms. Lyia." Shadow snarks. Jia summons her Sword. She turns and faces Shadow. "I thought you were just a soul now. Nothing else." She says. Shadow laughs. "That is none of your business." They state. Shadow is an Ice Demon who put a slice of her magic and soul into Jia's dorm walls to torment her. Shadow is one of the demons who worked alongside Leiso Lyia, and also helped Leiso kidnap Jia when she first arrived. She only started the dorm thing when Jia escaped her father's grasp and entered Spring Blossom. Ni left tears splattering the floor and ground as he ran.
