The Courtyard was almost frozen. God's shot into the air, creating force fields around the school. "That boy I loved is still there." Jia mumbled. She turns to face Lyra who changes in her human form. The sound or form changing rings across the courtyard. Niko screeched as he was teleported away. "JIA MADE ONE MISTAKE. SHE LOVED ME." He screamed as he disappeared. Kuki shot down to Jia. Jia heard Niko. A different sense of anger began to well up in her stomach. Tears began to roll down her cheeks. Her Aini lines on her face faded away. Siona didn't talk. She didn't say a word. Jia and her were both speechless. Siona needed time to rest. Jia wanted time to rest, but knew she wouldn't have it. She let out a large breath. Kuki landed beside Jia. "What's wrong?" She asked. Jia coughed on her tears. "I just tried to kill my boyfriend." She says.

Kuki's eyes widened. "He was apart of that demon group?" She was panicking. She couldn't think of Niko, the soul split, who helped her save Jia as a full demon. "I wish he would just be normal again." Jia mumbled. Kuki got sidetracked to healing other Gods and God Slayers. In the end there was not a single actually dead. Jia watched from a bench, holding her knees to her face. She felt helpless. A bandage was wrapped around her back. She remembered the illusions that Niko made. They would have got her if Siona hadn't been there. Jia lets a deep breath. Her sword is unsummoned. She rubs her eyes.

Niko is screaming at the head demons. "I ALMOST KILLED MY F-ING GIRLFRIEND! HOW DO YOU LET THIS HAPPEN!?" Niko screeched. Niko stormed out of the headquarters of the MD, the major demons. He went to Murphy's room and found her asleep on her desk, few patients left in the infirmary. Tick was one of them. Niko could see Tock standing over his brother. He could see Tock's shoulders shaking and he thought Tock was laughing. Then Niko saw Tock's hands go up to his face and he knew Tock was crying.

Jia sits on the bench. Hikari walks towards her. "Hey. I'm Hikari, one of the lost ones of the Elemental Quadrant." She says. Jia just nods, still with her head between her knees. "I'm a Luminous God, similar to your sister Airi." Hikari says. Jia doesn't say anything. "You ok?" Hikari asks. Jia shakes her head. She looks at her hands. Blood stains them. A mix of her blood and Niko's blood. A single tear drops on them.

Soon enough Hecate walked up to Jia. "It's safe now. You can go back to your apartment." She said. Jia had never spoken to Hecate before. Jia knew she was coming off weak. Hecate's daughter, Emilia, stands beside Hecate. Jia just nods and stands. Niko touched Tock's shoulder and the boy whipped around. "What." Tock mumbled. "I'm sorry. I could've stopped it." Niko said. "No, you couldn't have. But I now hold vengeance to the gods." Tock muttered. "We apologize for what has happened today." Hecate says as Jia stands. Jia nods again. She is face to face with the Goddess of Magic herself. Jia doesn't say a word. She doesn't even bother to.

Niko hugged Tock. "It'll be alright." He said with a glance at Nico, who had been hurt severely. Niko sighed. "Goodbye." He mumbled and teleported back to his apartment. "I have classes. I'm late." Niko murmured. He picked up his backpack and pulled some textbooks and writing materials inside. Niko exited the apartment and went to the university on a bus.

A giant forcefield, to keep all demons out, gleams in the light around Spring Blossom. Niko hit himself on the forcefield. "Ah, damn it." He mumbled. Jia lets out a deep breath. "Thank you Ms. Hecate." She bows to Hecate. The Goddess nods. "No problem." She smiles. Emilia smiles from beside Hecate. "I love your hybrid magic." She says to Jia. Jia laughs through her welled up tears. "Thank you." She smiles, and then walks away. She pulls her beanie down a little more. Jia knows that. Hecate probably knows what Jia did to her magic last summer, but she'd prefer Emilia not to see her horns or know too much.

Niko sighs. He walks away. "No school for me, I guess." Niko mumbles. Jia walks through the forcefield, and doesn't notice Niko till she leaves it. The Gods inside the Forcefield begin teleporting back to the Realm of Stars. Jia, out of the corner of her eye, sees her mom watch her, and then disappear. Niko is back in his human form. No nubs of horns. Just his usual messy black hair. He has a Panic at the disco tee shirt and some black jeans. Jia grunts. "You bastard." She said. From far away you can hear a gasp. Niko turns around. "Huh?" He asks. "You imbecile demon." Jia snarks.
