Leo was sitting up on the kitchen counter as Lune looked for some bandage and ice. Jia knocked again and again. She waited for Niko to open the door. "Wait, you're an ice Mage." Lune sighed. "C'mon. Make an ice pack or something."

Leo obeyed and zapped a piece of ice into thin air. Lune caught it in a plastic bag and pressed it against Leo's face. Leo squirmed. Niko sobbed as he curled up under his desk. "I'm a full demon. Demon of depression, mind you." Niko cried. "I have a demon inside me? Not anymore. Roi is gone. I don't know the heck where, but he's gone. Ni and Ko have kept together for so long that it's like they've permanently fused, which is impossible, and Kitine's voice is gone." Jia grunted. "I'm also a demon Niko." She snaps. "If you're the demon of depression then you would know what I have been through my WHOLE DAMN LIFE." She shouted. "I KNOW AND THAT MAY BE THE FRICKING PROBLEM!? I CAUSE DEPRESSION, WHICH TURNS INTO SUICIDE WHICH IS MY FRIEND PIPPEN! I CAN MAGIC PEOPLE INTO DEPRESSION! THAT'S MY SOLE PURPOSE! I SENSE NATURAL DEPRESSION AND... AND..." Niko burst into tears again.

Niko's wings folded around him, creating a black shroud covering him. Only his tail and ears were visible. "IF YOU CAN SENSE DEPRESSION, I REEK OF IT NIKO. SO WHAT YOU'RE THE DEMON OF DEPRESSION, THAT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME. YOU'RE MY BOYFRIEND. I LOVE YOU. I MISSED YOU. IF YOU DON'T NEED THAT ANYMORE BREAK UP WITH ME." Jia shouted.

Ellie eats ice cream. "I wonder what Niko and Jia are doing.. prob being emo and ANGSTY. " The phone rang "wait? What you can't do my shift?" Ellie grumbled. "Fine fine."

Niko crawled out from under the table. He opened up the window and squeezed through. Niko left black feathers on the windowsill and flew off. "I'm coming in." Jia grabbed the handle, and the whole door began to burn with black, contained flames. The door turned to ash and the fire burnt out. Jia looked in the room. Niko was gone. Anger built in her throat. Her eyes turned gold and her horns grew. Her clothing swirled into her full form dress. It now had long sleeves because of the cold weather. Her wings folded on her back. Silver boots coated her feet. Jia's hair had a small braid in the back, and the rest was loose. Her choker was golden with little suns. Her Aini lines were just visible at the end of her sleeves. The anger swirled in her eyes, she saw the feathers on the window. Jia threw the window open and squeezed out. Her wings opened as she did so.

Black feathers left a trail behind Niko. Lune fastened a band aid on Leo's cheek and Leo hopped off of the counter. "I bet Niko left again." Leo complained. Lune sighed. "I have to get home. Call me when you find him." He said and left. Leo was alone. He reeked of depression. Jia shot after Niko, following the black, falling feathers. "So be it you're the Demon of Depression. Then what was my dad, the Demon of Elements?" She mumbled. She flapped her wings. The air was cold, but not to her. A fire aura circled her as she flew, giving off heat. Niko looked around. His glasses masked his tainted vision. Niko was suspended in midair above a tree. A certain tree that a certain boy fell from and broke his arm. Niko could feel a shroud of thick depression circle the tree. Jia finally saw Niko. She shot towards him, over the Magic hospital.

Niko floated down to the tree and saw Nix sleeping underneath. Nix had changed. There were dark circles under his eyes and he was pale. Tears stained his face and clothing. Niko sighed. "Idiot." He mumbled to himself as he shot off into the distance. Time to go to Misery's realm. He actually wasn't under Madness's rule, just Misery's. Jia shot after him. "Damn you Niko." She mumbled. "Elemental Demonic God Air Hook." She said under her breath. A gust of wind began to hook around Niko, pulling him to her. "Come. On." She said. Ellie noticed the fire aura in the sky. Right now she was walking to her part time job. "Jia?" Ellie muttered to herself.

Jia kept pulling at the spell. Niko pushed forward, more powerful as a full demon. He turned and a depression shot hurled towards Jia. "Crap." Niko muttered. "Didn't mean to do that." Shots of depression were different for every person. Some it was memories. For others it was implements of sadness. Niko could feel depression everywhere. It choked him. Suffocated him. It was sad. But it was his job to keep people depressed. He didn't like it, but something needed to balance happiness. Ellie formed gold feathered wings on her back, which was actually a invention to help people fly and was created back in Greece time. Ellie flew up into the sky and one of the wax gold wings flung off. It does that. She found Niko and Jia and sighed and hovered above them.
