I sighed heavily and began reading:
My dearest Yoona,
I miss you ever so much. I wish you could just come back now and be with me. It'd make me so much happier. This month without you has made me realize how much you really mean to me. I can't eat, sleep, or think straight knowing that I won't see you the next day. It breaks my heart. Although it does, that only makes me gain more patience to wait for your return. I hope America is treating you well. Tell appa and umma I said hello. Saranghae.
Jae-Hwa
I folded the letter back up and held it to my chest and began to cry. He'd cared for me so much. Knowing I broke his heart made me feel so horrible. I felt like the worst girlfriend ever. I never tried keeping in touch with him either. I shoved my face into my pillow and cried harder at the thought of it. I couldn't stop at this point. Every memory had ever had together was now a constant reminder of how horrible I was. It was all my fault he was gone. I wiped some of my tears away and tried going to sleep. I figured I could use it. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
I woke up the next morning to Cyrus shaking me violently.
"Tori! You need to get up!" he yelled.
I sat up abruptly causing him to back up. I shot him a look.
"Were you crying?" he asked coming closer to my face.
"No." I pushed him away and rushed into the bathroom to take a shower.
After showering we headed out to see Da Wook.
I kept my focus outside the window the whole ride there.
"So you want to know where Jae-Hwa might be?" Da Wook questioned.
"Aish," he scratched the back of his head, "Well...he came to the shop one night and handed me those pack of letters and said he had to run. He said if anybody came near the place to tell them he's in paradise. No clue what it means." he sat back.
"Paradise." I repeated.
"You should go to Woon Ha. He knows everything."
"Gomawo!" I yelled as I dragged Cyrus out the door. I shoved him into the driver's seat and got in. I told him I'd tell him where to go.
"What was he saying?" Cyrus asked while keeping his eyes on the road.
"He was saying Jae's in paradise. We're going to Woon Ha's."
When we reached Woon Ha's I bowed to his mom before asking for where he was. She showed us to the basement.
"Long time no see." I said ruffling his hair.
"Yoona!" he hugged me tightly.
After I introduced him to Cyrus I sat down on the couch.
"Paradise...what do you know about it?" I asked.
"That place, yeah, it's an underground club, real bad place. Why do you ask?" he questioned.
"Jae-Hwa is there..." I said.
"Jae-Hwa?! Why?!" he jumped up.
He began pacing back and forth mumbling to himself.
"I don't know," I sighed, "but whatever it is it can't be good."
