I rolled over to see that the clock read 2:57 AM. I still hadn't gone to sleep yet. Sighing, I got out of bed. I snooped around to find the keys to the car. When i found them I slipped on my sweatpants and hoodie and headed to the elevator; I was going to search for the club. I texted Ho Sook asking if she knew of the club. She responded with the adress.
"Finally." I sighed.
I drove around a couple of blocks before pulling up to a black building. There was a small neon sign that hung in front of the window. It read: "PARADISE" in orange letters with a palm tree next to it. I go out of the car and braced myself for whatever was going to happen. When I opened the club door it was packed with people grinding against each other. I tried making my way over to the bar without getting swamped by people.
The music was so loud I had to yell to hear myself over it. I went up to the bartender and spoke, "YA! DO YOU KNOW OF A GUY NAMED JAE-HWA?!" I yelled over the music.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me into a back room. He sat me down on the couch and cleared his throat, "You're looking for new boy eh?" he questioned.
"If that's what you call him, yeah. Do you know where he is?" I hoped he did.
"Course I do. Lived with the guy for a year. Moved out when I got this job."
He turned around and grabbed a slip of paper and scribbled something on it then handed it to me.
"He should be there," he started, "It's abandoned so only go at night. People see you go in there during the day and they might call the cops." he scratched his beard.
I bowed to him and shuffled out of the club as quickly as possible. I followed the GPS to where Jae-Hwa was supposed to be. I figured I go now since it was still dark. The building was an old run-down apartment complex. The windows we all cracked except a few in the middle levels. I shrugged my shoulders and went up the stairs.
Jae-Hwa's Point Of View
I had just gotten up, still sore and bruised all over from last night. Those guys never let up. I got up and looked in the mirror to examine myself. My face had no bruises, minus the scar near my mouth but it wasnt much. My chest had dark purple bruises all over, as well as my shoulders and back. Just then there was a knock at the door. I sighed and opened the door hoping it wouldn't be Seung Tae asking for his money. Before I could open the door a girl rushed in and hugged me.
"Jae-Hwa...I missed you so much." she mumbled into my chest. I pulled her back to see who it was hugging me. I'd never thought I'd see her again. It was Yoona. I pulled her back into a hug and held her tightly. I began to cry; out loud. It was the first time I'd ever cried this way.
We stayed like this for a moment, hugging while I cried. She stepped back and fixed her glasses.
"I was looking for you. That's why I came here. I just missed you so mu-" I cut her off and kissed her. Her lips were still the same as before. So warm and inviting. She blushed and got off her toes as I let go.
"You're so cute." I said pinching her nose.
"Ya!" she squealed swatting at me.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her into another hug. I missed this so much. Just being about to touch her; to hear her.
"Sarangehae." I kissed the top of her head.
I pulled away and went into my drawer next to my bed and pulled out a little red box. It was something I had bought for her a long time ago.
"Yoona, I bought you this." I said handing it to her.
She opened the box revealing a necklace. The charm had a bear holding a four-leafed clover.
"Gomawo~" she said kissing my nose.
She looked down at her watch and gasped a little.
"I have to go...I'm sorry." she muttered.
She gave me her number and began to walk out. Before she could leave I pulled her back and kissed her again. She smiled and left out of the room leaving me alone again.
