Sluggishly I awake. Today we're flying into JFK, the plane will be taking off around 7 am. This means I'm out of my room by 4:45 am. There's zero chance we can be late, and so everyone is rushed into the tour bus.

--------

The flight isn't very long but it does allow me to catch a few z's. It's even better because not only are we flying first class, but I get to sit beside Jonathon. This means there's a good chance of complete silence.

I can hear Geno and Pavel playing some sort of video game, and Alex typing furiously.

I don't really know what Henrik is doing...Maybe he's napping.

And then I start to blush.

My dinner with him was amazing, we really got along. I never realized how much of a great sense of humour he has, and how well he can tell stories. Half the night I was tempted to ask him for an autograph. HE'S JUST THAT PERFECT.

No wonder he's married.

It's about 45 minutes before we're about to land when I decide to speak up,"Hey, Jonathon. How was your sleep last night?"

"Terrible. I'll be honest with you, I'm not a big fan of airplanes." He says quietly.

"Really? But don't you fly a lot?" I ask.

"Yeah. I mean, I'm not scared, or-or anything. They just make me nervous, thinking about how high up in the sky we are." He murmurs.

I lower my voice to match his,"Up until I turned 12, I used to be afraid of escalators.  Especially the ones that went down. Which means it was pretty difficult to travel with me, or go to malls."

Jonathon raises his eyebrow in amusement, smirking. "Oh yeah? Those things are sort of weird."

I laugh a little and look downwards.

"There's still a few more minutes until we land, why don't you have a nap. I promise not to wake you."

I nod and then.....I just sort of...rest my head against his shoulder.

I can't explain why, or what I was thinking, but I did. And I don't think he minded because he didn't move an inch, he just let me rest. When I woke up I felt really good, possibly because I was in dire need of sleep.

Or maybe it had something to do with how comfortable it felt...or maybe even how amazing he smelt to me. Like the nicest cologne.

-----------

Geno and Pavel hang out in my hotel room, we spend the majority of time playing video games. When dinner time rolls around we decide to order numerous rounds of food, spending at least $200.00.

Everyone heads to bed pretty early.

Except for me.

I stay up late, and watch a whole bunch of movies.

After all I'm in the 'city that never sleeps'.

----------

After a quick breakfast we're hustled outside of our hotel in Battery Park.

I laugh at the five, huge buses that are waiting and immediately I know what's about to happen. Each of these hockey players are going to board one bus and will pretend to be a guide.

It's even more entertaining to me because I can tell that this tour is meant to surprise not only the people watching, but the ones involved.

Mr.Moores huddles the whole crew together and shouts over the loud streets of the Business District,"Alright, so if you didn't guess already each of you will hop onto on of these," he points to the large machines,"And will be a guide for a group of tourists. Don't worry, it's completely safe, we've arranged guards and such. You'll be expected to answer all the questions received, just like a real tour guide. We've spoken to the drivers and your route has been cut, and at a maximum will take around 30 minutes."

Geno and Pavel high-five eachother and run to find their assigned machine. Jonathon casually walks behind them, with Hank following closely.

"Hey, Boss, is alright if Hailey comes with me?" Alex pleads.

Mr.Moores scratches his bald head, and then looks at me quizzically,"Would you like to record your segment with him..?"

I bite my lip.

I know I shouldn't be so harsh on him, but I'm still pretty sure that he just wants to get it in..

That's when Geno shouts across the street, begging for my presence.

"I would," I say with pitty,"but, Geno and I decided to work together, we spoke about it back in Toronto."

Alex bows his head, and scratches his neck. "Okey."

Stevie follows me over to Geno's bus.

------

"Today is a normal day for most New Yorkers, but for a handful, something extremely unique has happened. All five of our NHL representatives have hopped onto tour buses, and are aimlessly babbling. It's sure to be very interesting, and if you'd like to see some of these players make sure to head over to Battery Park around 3:30 PM. We'll be back in a few minutes to show you how one of our players has been doing so far. From TSN, I'm Hailey Watson."

PHEW.

I take a seat on the exposed part of the bus and put on some shades. The sun is really warm, almost cooking my skin. Serves me right for wearing my 'professional' suit.

"Hailey, Pssst, Hailey." Evgeni whisper-shouts.

"What's up, bud?" I say with a smile.

"I have no idea what to say." He says, clearly distraught.

"Just make them laugh. Half the time the stuff you say to me doesn't make any sense, but I still giggle." I say jokingly.

Geno's faces brightens up,"You suck."

--------

Stevie gets a few shots of Evgeni saying things like,"On right we have a big building."

"On left there are hot-dog stand."

"Oh, and look at all the tiny peeples! Wave to the tiny peeples! Hayy!"

I can't help but laugh and really enjoy myself watching this guy talk non-stop. Before too long we arrive back where we started, numerous fans crowding at the stop, most likely waiting to get autographs.

I try to squeeze past the mob and back to the hotel, and I manage to get to the front door with ease. Looking back I see the 5 guys being hassled by fans, who are begging for their attention.

One day, that could be me, I think to myself.

A/N: So, was that kind of short? I sat in front of the computer for like ever trying to write. Hailey, you are one crazy chick.
