I couldn't sleep that night after the horrible dream. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw big dark circles under my eyes. I hated makeup but I had no other way to cover those circles. I applied a lot a of makeup to cover them and was quite satisfied with my work. I went downstairs and my parents were staring at me with eyes wide. "Yeah, yeah. I know I hate makeup but I couldn't sleep last night and there were dark circles under my eyes so..." I was quite frank with my parents so I told them the truth. "Everything okay, sweetpea?" My mom asked. "Yup." I said and they smiled at me. We had breakfast and left for our own work.
I got down from the bus and headed inside the gate. I spotted Phoebe and Joahnnah. They were staring at me in the same way my parents were this morning. "Hey Phoebs!" I said and she continued staring. "Hello!" I waved my hands in front of her face. She snapped and said, "You have applied makeup?" "Yeah, I know..." I huffed. She stared and I chuckled and replied, "Stop. Let's go to class." She smiled and we headed towards our class. I saw Harry. He was the same. Glaring at me. I looked away and sat down. The lecture got over sooner than expected. The other lectures also went by fast. It was break time. It was my favourite time because I have a lot of fun. "Alice!" Charlie yelled. I turned around and smiled at him. He hugged me. I kinda had a cute little crush on him. Note, 'cute.little.crush'. I kissed him on his cheek and said, " Hello there, Charlie!" He smiled at me. I felt someone's gaze burning through me. I looked and guess what, it was Harry. Of course. Who else would it be? I mean, doesn't he know that staring is rude? I ignored and we all sat down. "So, tomorrow is the party. You all coming, right?" Phoebe asked excitedly. "You coming?" Charlie asked , looking straight in my eyes. I nodded my head. He gave me a cheeky smile in return and kissed my cheek. I giggled and asked, "What was that for?" "For being irresistibly cute!" I smiled and looked at Phoebe and said, "I'm coming!" She squealed and gave me a massive hug. "Thank you so much!!" +++++ I was waiting for the bus when I heard someone calling my name. "Alice!" It was Charlie. "Hey Charlie!" "Hey.." he said. "I was wondering ....umm...if you-if you wanna be my date tomorrow night?" He was rubbing the back of his neck. I found that gesture cute. "Sure! I don't mind." I smiled and replied. "Really?!" He asked, shocked. "Yes, really!" He hugged me and said, "I'll pick you up at 7pm tomorrow, yeah?" "Okay." I said. "Thank you. Bye. See you.. tomorrow." He kissed my cheek and left. +++++ Today was the day of party. And it was terrifying me as it was my first party that I've ever been to. God I have no idea what to wear. I decided to call Phoebe. "Hello." She answered on the second ring. "Hey Phoebs? Can you come over and help me get dress up?" "Sure!" She said excitedly . We said our goodbyes and hung up. ++++ "Okay girl, you are wearing none of your dresses because I've got you something." She pulled out the dress from her bag and my eyes widened. It was a simple dress but it was elegant. What made me frown was the neckline.

"I cannot wear it Phoebe." "Why?!?!" She asked "Look at the neckline, its so low!" "Please wear it! It isn't that low! Please!! For me!" She was begging me to wear it. "I've never worn revealing clothes before." I told her. Her face saddened and I didn't like that. "I'll wear it." "Yay!!!!" She screamed. "I love you!" She said. "I love you more!" I said. "Now go and change." I hurried inside the bathroom and took a deep breath. I stripped and also took off my bra as the dress didn't need one. I was not skinny. I didn't have a model figure. But I did have perfect curves in right places. So the dress fitted perfectly. I walked out and Phoebe squealed. "Girl, you're on fire!" She said and winked at me. I blushed. "No boy will be able to keep his eyes of you. And Charlie? He is going to bury himself in the ground." I blushed and chuckled. "Shut up Phoebe and do my makeup!" She did an amazing job doing my makeup. Smokey eyes and red lips. She put a bit more mascara to make my lashes look more thicker.
I was waiting. It was 6:55 and we both were ready. The bell rang. He was five minutes early. I opened the door and took in his appearance. He wore plane blue shirt with skinny jeans and amazing shoes. I smiled at him and he just smiled at me, him mouth hung low. I waved my hand in the air in front of him and he finally came back to earth. "Are you okay?" I asked "Yeah....yeah. You just.... you look superbly,amazingly fantastically wow!" I blushed " Thank you. You don't look bad yourself." He smiled and leaned down to kiss my cheek. "I forgot to say. You look beautiful too." He whispered in my ears and pulled away smirking. I was red a tomato right now. "If you both are done, can we go?" Phoebe asked. "Of course!" We both said in unison. +++++ We were outside a massive house. Charlie opened my door and took my hand in his. He placed a soft kiss on my knuckles . I smiled at his cute gesture. We headed inside and I saw the person I expected to be here. I ignored him We headed to get drinks and I felt someone's eyes on my back. This was going to be a long night.....
