Towards the dark

Chapter 3

    2nd lecture was extremely lengthy and by the time it got over, I was exhausted and bored. I was relieved that my nest class was yoga and gymming. I was hoping that I won't see the bun man here but my prediction was proved wrong.

    There he was, in a plain white see through t-shirt. After that I made my mind that he will be there in all my classes and I was right. He always kept staring which was extremely annoying to me.

    He never spoke. I was wondering, if he was dumb or something?

    My first day passed by quickly. Phoebe, Joahnnah and me exchanged numbers and parted ways. I was in the cab on my way home when my phone started ringing.
  
    I saw the caller ID and smiled. It was Phoebe calling me. I picked it up and answered,
    "Hello." "Hello darling!" She said cheerfully. "I think it's not even been ten minutes that we parted ways." She giggled and said, " Oh girl, I know that. I was wondering if you would like to go to this party that my friend is throwing?"

    I stayed silent. Parties?? They aren't really my thing. "Hello?"

    "Ah, yeah I'm there. Phoebe, I-I don't know. Parties aren't really my thing."

    She whined from the other side and I said, " Okay , okay. I'll think about it and let you know. Yeah?"

    "Okay girlie." She said excitedly. "Bye,Phoeb." She giggled and said, " Phoeb? Nice. I like it. Bye!"
   
    My house came into view. I paid the cab driver and headed inside. I saw that my parents were home and honestly it surprised me. My mother was a lawyer and my father was a financial advisor of a contractor. They were never home. I smiled at them and went to my bedroom to get changed. I came down and sat with my parents. "How was your day sweet pea?!" It wast my dad who asked. "It was actually pretty good, dad. I even made two new friends." "Good.", he said.
   
    I went into the kitchen to get something for me to eat and my mum followed. "So, your day was good?" She questioned. "Yeah." She smiled and pulled my cheeks and nose which made her receive a whine from me. I hated it when someone pulled my nose.

    I went to the dining table, rubbing it and helped my mum set the dinner. We all sat down and had dinner like any normal family would. Speaking about random things.
   
    I excused myself, telling them that I had to do my homework and kissed them goodnight. I started doing my homework and by the time I finished it, it was passed bedtime.

    I closed my books and went to bed. Hoping that tomorrow my day will go better and that I won't have to deal with the bun man's annoying gaze.
