Samantha's POV

"Hey, you know what will cheer you up?" Callum asked. I raised my eyebrows, waiting for the answer. "Ice cream." I smiled. I was in the mood for ice cream.

"You guys pay?" I asked. They nodded. I smiled and agreed. Jace drove to the nearby Dairy Queen. I ordered a Cappuccino Heath Blizzard. Yum! The boys all ordered fudge sundaes.

"Feel better?" Callum asked. I nodded and I savored the taste of the ice cream.

"A lot better," I admitted. He smiled, and then frowned.

"I don't. I had to pay and now my wallet is sad and hungry," Callum said. I laughed.

"It was your suggestion," I reminded him. He shrugged.

"Well,I'm full," Cory said, patting his stomach. I looked at him and he winked at me. I smiled slightly.

"You know what I feel like doing? Bungee jumping," I said out randomly. The guys looked at me strangely.

"You don't have to be suicidal, Sammy," Tony said, shaking his head. I laughed.

"I'm not. I just want to feel the thrill of jumping off things and hopefully still be alive," I said.

"Hopefully?" Tony asked. I nodded.

"Hey, you never know. The cord that attaches to you could snap. They all nodded.

"Well, are you in the mood for something else, dare devil?" Jace asked. I smiled then I jumped up in my seat.

"I'm grounded! Oh crap! I have to go home now," I panicked. The guys laughed.

"Alright, let's go. Maybe we can rent a movie on the way," Jace suggested. I nodded. We got in the car and Jace drove to the movie rental place where we got Paranormal Activity. Then we drove to my house. I was crossing my fingers that my mom won't be too mad. When I got in the house, my mom was baking cookies. They're not as good as Tony's mom's cooking, but they're okay. I'm not going to turn down a cookie unless it's burnt and charred.

"Didn't you just have ice cream?" Cory asked. He took a cookie for himself.

"Samantha, need I remind you that you're still grounded?" my mom said calmly. I sighed.

"No, I'm really sorry though. I had a rough day and I kind of forgot," I said. She nodded. Yes! I'm off the hook.

"Hey mom! I'm headed to Alex's," Sky said. Alex is is best friend. I call him Alexander just to bug him. Sky glanced at me and I looked at him knowingly. It's no secret that he's into Alex's sister, Ria, or Alexandria. She's a year older than him. He glared at me, giving me a look that said 'Don't tell mom'. My mom likes to talk and tease my brother when he has a girlfriend. He had this girlfriend once, her name was Tanya, I think. She was pretty. My mom kept telling her all my brother's most embarrassing moments. And then, there was this one girl. Auntie Missy's son, Danny, had a friend name Vince, and he had a sister named Charlotte. Sky met Charlotte and had a crush on her. He told my mom. Big mistake. My mom went and told Charlotte's parents about it and then they told Charlotte. Charlotte had a boyfriend. So now, my brother keeps his relationship under the wraps. Too bad it's not too much of a secret to me.

"Have fun, Skylar!" I sang. He rolled his eyes and ran out.

"When will that boy get a girl?" my mom asked.

"Ah, never," I said. She smiled. I took one more cookie and went into the room where all the guys were. They were putting in the movie. I liked scary movies. And then, sometimes I didn't. Paranormal Activity was okay.

When the movie was over, the guys went home. I offered to let them sleep over but they all said they had to go home. Even Jace. I went to bed early. I felt oddly tired.

*Alright, a few things....

firstly, i've never tried to blizzard mentioned.. i just went on the website, saw it, and chose to put it in my story

same goes for the movie... i've never watched paranormal activity even if my friend has so i couldn't really explain anything
