Part 2!!! Enjoy!
Samantha's POV
I couldn't help but feel relieved when I saw the result. I looked at Jace and he had a small smile on his lips. I
can't believe we're suddenly dating now. Just like that. Maybe all this time, I've liked him. For sure, I've been
attracted to him the slightest. I could tell he was different from Cory. I just know. But is he really the one? I
don't care. For now, we're together and I'm just glad he's here with me so I don't have to deal with this myself.
"You should check the other tests to make sure," he said. I nodded and took a deep breath. I looked at the test and
gasped.
Positive.
Positive. The same result showed for the last 2 tests. I felt my eyes water. Out of 5, 4 tests were positive.
That's an 80% chance I am pregnant. I dropped to the floor and the tests fell out of my hands. Jace picked them up.
Seconds later, I felt him hug me.
"It's okay, Sammy. We'll tell Cory together then we can go to the doctor's to make sure," he said, sounding
soothing. I continued to cry like a baby.
"My parents will kill me," I muttered. I wiped away my tears and grabbed the phone. I sent Cory a text that I
needed to talk to him and he had to get to my house pronto. About 5 minutes later, the doorbell rang. I sighed.
Jace stood up and answered the door.
"What's wrong, Sam?" Cory asked when he got to my room. His eyes showed so much concern. Flashes of what the baby
might look passed through my mind and I managed a small smile.
"Sam?"
"I'm pregnant," I said.
Cory's POV
When Sam texted me to come over, I thought of what she wanted to tell me. Maybe she wanted to hang out. A lot of
things were possible, but what Sam actually said wasn't what I expected.
"I'm pregnant."
Just 2 words that made my whole world come tumbling down. Only 2 words that will change my life forever. I didn't
know how to react. I just stood there frozen. As the silence passed, all that could be heard was Sam's cries and
Jace's soothing words to calm her. I mentally punched myself. Jace was being the man here and he wasn't at all
involved. I pushed myself over to her and pulled her away from Jace. I hugged her tightly.
"Sorry Sam," I muttered. The only words that I could think of, which was pathetic because it wouldn't be able to
change anything.
"What are we going to do?" she asked. I honestly didn't know.
"I don't know," I said truthfully. She pulled away from me.
"I'm pregnant, Cory. With your freaking baby. Just tell me what you want!" she hollered. I was taken back by it. I
took a deep breath.
"I don't know, Sam! I don't want to be a dad, I'm not ready," I sighed. She laughed.
"Damn right. You can't just take responsibility?" she demanded. I shook my head.
"Sam, I wish I can but you know I'm not that guy," I said.
"No, you aren't. I can't believe you're so immature. The least you could do is say you'll be there for me and the
baby," she yelled. I backed away.
"I can't," I said and fled.
I admit, it was a stupid thing to do, but I freaked. I didn't expect it. I wish I could be there for Sam. I mean, I
ruined her life, it's the least I can do. I wish that I was not who I am. I hope she can forgive me for running
away like this.
*Awww, I feel bad for Sam, don't you?
Is Cory going to ever be able to be responsible?
