Hanging with Boys (The End)

Samantha's POV

"Mom! I think it's time," I yelled. My water broke and now I'm freaking out! It's too early. I wasn't supposed to be due until next week. What if something's wrong? My mom appeared and helped me to the car quickly. She grabbed my bag and called everyone, Jace, Callum, Tony, and Cory. It was starting to hurt now, but it was pain I could contain.

We finally arrived at the hospital and I was wheeled in. The guys were already there. Everyone looked worried. Cory came over to hug me and I hugged him back.

"I'll be okay," I said. He nodded and I was pushed into a room and put on the bed and changed into one of their gowns. The pain was starting to really bother me now.

"She's almost ready. Who's heading into the delivery room with her?" a nurse asked.

"You go man, you're the dad," Jace said, pushing Cory towards me. I was screaming in pain.

"No way, you go, you're dating her," Cory said.

"You're the dad!" Jace said.

"You're her boyfriend!"

"You go!"

"No, you go!"

"You!"

"Just make up your mind!" I yelled.

"Seriously man, you go," Jace said. Cory nodded and followed me into the delivery room. He held onto my hand and I was gripping onto it tightly.

"Calm down, Sam," he said, trying to soothe me. I tried to breathe, but it felt harder and harder to.

*One hour later*

"Push! Breathe!" everyone in the room was telling me. I was getting tired of them.

"Shut the hell up, you push!" I screamed back. I had been screaming different profanities for the past hour. Labor is painful!

"Calm down, Sammy. It's almost here," he said. I gave one final push and heard a baby's cry.

"One more to go," the doctor said. I took a deep breath and pushed. About another 10 minutes later, another baby came out. I took a deep breath and tears were streaming down my face. My breathing wAs rapid. Cory wiped away the sweat on my face and smiled.

"You did it," he said. I nodded. Suddenly, a nurse came over and smiled at us.

"Congrats, two healthy babies," she said, handing one to me and one to Cory. I kissed my baby girl's forehead softly and smiled. I looked up at Cory and the sight brought tears to my eyes. He looked so lovingly at his son. Like this was the best moment of his life. He really has matured.

"They're our babies," he said hoarsely. Tears were at the corners of his eyes. I laughed.

"Yeah. Messed up, huh?" I said. He smiled.

"Yeah," he said. We traded babies and I smiled once again. These babies were going to be loved.

"Kaden," I whispered.

"Kirsten," Cory said. I smiled. Then, everyone poured in. After about 5 minutes, my family left and only the guys were left. Callum was holding Kirsten and Tony was holding Kaden. I smiled. The nurse came in and took away the babies.

"Time for feeding," she annouced. Suddenly, all the guys ran out. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

Boys!

*1 year later*

"Look at mommy! Right here Kaden! Come on Kirsten!" I've been trying, but unsuccessfully, to get the 2 1-year-old babies to look at the camera. Their faces were covered with pink and blue frosting from their birthday cake. I sighed. I felt someone snatch the camera from me and I glared at Cory. He rolled his eyes and began making funny faces.

"Right here. Look at daddy!" he said, waving his hands around and sticking out his tongue. Kaden and Kirsten turned to him and right before the camera flashed, they had smiles on their faces. Flash! Cory smiled and handed me back the camera.

"Perfect," he said, looking smug. I rolled my eyes. He went over to the babies and picked up Kaden while Callum took Kirsten.

"Give your mommy a kiss," Cory said. He and Callum stood on each side of me and pressed each of the baby onto my cheek, making frosting stick to me. They laughed and walked off while I rolled my eyes and wiped the frosting off my face. Jace came over and smiled.

"Let me help," he said, kissing each of my cheek. I smiled. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. Together, we watched the scene in front of us.

Kaden and Kirsten were on the grass, pulling at it and smiling.

Cory was watching them with a loving gleam in his eyes. He was still single. He liked this one girl at this place he started to work at, but didn't have the nerve to ask her. I'd never thought I'd see the day.

Tony finally broke up with that girl he's been 3 years with. He's dating Monica now. Yeah, shocker! Monica is okay now. She's not the nicest person in the world but I can handle her and she makes Tony happy. She's changed. She's not really a slut anymore and she actually has brain! And to think the only thing on her mind was boys.

Callum isn't dating anyone either. He's happily single. And apparently straight. That just hasn't been able to fully sink in. Callum has an eye on a girl though. I don't know who. He won't tell me.

And Jace and me are happily still dating. On my finger is a promise ring. We want to get married some day, but it's too early now.

"We'll have one of our own one day," Jace said, and I didn't fear that it wouldn't happen. I had a lot of confidence me and Jace would have our own family one day. I buried my head into his chest and smiled happily. Everything was falling into place.

I looked around once more. I thought of the past, present, and future. Things change. You can't help that. You can't predict the future. Maybe the next 5 minutes, but not the next 5 years. Like I would never expect getting pregnant so young and being in this moment now. Being in Jace's arms. I would never imagine it, but I'm happy it happened. Things happens for a reason. And things can change anytime, anywhere. I'm ready for those changes and I don't know what will happen but I'm welcoming them with open arms. I do know one thing, though. No matter where those changes take me, I know I'll always be hanging with boys.

*Yup, that's all folks! That's the sad news (hopefully u guys are a bit sad that its all over)

the good news is that i've started to write a sequel to this... i think i'll post it pretty soon since i finished writing the first chapter, but i might make you guys wait awhile before i post it... i don't know :)

BTW, if any of u guys wanted to know, the title is "Competing with Boys"
