I'm woken up by the strong light of the sun.
Slowly rising from bed, I turn to look at the bedside clock.
6:35am. Ugh.
I'm desperate to go back to sleep because I don't want to have to deal with today's "events"
But I can't.
I want to sleep and never wake up. My problems all gone and-
Maybe I could go to sleep, forever. With my future, being alive will only depress me. Unless I-
Ugh, never mind I don't have enough time. Literally.
I get out of bed, grab my stuff and start heading home.
I hand the keys to the front desk and walk, taking my time, studying the vegetation that surrounded me.
Beautiful.
I arrive back at home but the cars from last night were still outside.
I sneak around to the window which allows you to see into the kitchen and see my mom asleep at the table.
Slowly, I turn the handle to the front door and tiptoed inside, hoping not to awaken anyone.
I slipped into the living room and saw Hunter, sprawled across the couch, snoring.
But then I wandered, where's Dean?
"SKY!!"
Suddenly, I was wrapped up in a warm..and rather tight..embrace.
Once released, I turned around to see who it was, Dean.
"You scared us!"
"I didn't mean it,"
"You had me worried sick!"
"Why, it's not like you're family, nor do you care for me like we are."
"Sky, I- I love you. So much. And I just couldn't say it before,"
"You don't know what you had until you lose it" I mumbled quietly, but obviously, not quiet enough.
"Sky please. I came back to say that. I just- I want to help you. With whatever is going on, we can get through it together."
"Dean, I- you won't, you cAn't get me through this. No one can but me. And I've," i didn't know if I should do it. I hesitated in thought and made my decision.
"Sky,"
"No Dean. I've made my decision. Tell my mom that I love her and I'm sorry. Tell Hunter that he never had a chance. And Dean," I looked into his forest green eyes, filled with sadness and frustration. "I love you too Dean."
And with that, I turned around and walked away. Not prepared for what I would do next.
