Love, it isn't simple

Doggos

This person quickly released me and ran behind he boxes. I heard him shushing something so I peeked behind the boxes..

"They are dogs?!"

The person turned to me and said, "you tell anyone about this I'll kill you," I ignored the guy/girl and went to the dogs. There were three, a golden Labrador, German Shepard and Rottweiler.

"What are their names?" I asked rather politely.

"That's Zues," he pointed to the labby. "That's Kira," German Shepard. "And this one is Bobby." The Rottweiler. Kira walked up to me, nervous at first but began to sniff my hand is I stuck it out to her.

"Hey, girl." I spoke quietly and gently, didn't want to scare her off.

"She likes you," the person took off their hood and stared me in the eyes. "My names Dean, Dean Winchester." I stared into his green eyes, the sun, lighting them up.

I blushed a little after realising that I was staring into his eyes.

"S-sorry," I stuttered.

"For what?" He didn't seem to notice me staring before.

"Urm well- I was- I.." I thought for a quick few seconds. "I didn't tell you my name..."

"Oh yeah."

"It's Sky," He lifted his hand towards me, obviously wanting me to shake it. We shook hands then sat there for a moment, on the cold cement beneath us, looking at the doggos.

A question was raised in my mind, "why do you look after these dogs?"

"There homeless."

"Why not give em a home?"

"Parents.."

"Oh, why not my place?"

He looked at me for a few quick seconds.."sure you can handle em?" He asks, concerned.

"Doggos are doggos. Any doggos in my home shall be treated like family. You can come over and visit em if you want. Anytime!" I was sounding chirpy.

"Oh, in that case I'll buy three leashes and collars. I'll be right back." And with that, he left with a skip in his step.

I sat in between the dogs as they all rested next to me, their heads on my lap. I stroked their ears one by one as they slowly fell asleep.
