We have a son.

Welcome to the world, Anthony James Perry.

He's pretty small at 4 and a half pounds so the paramedics whizz us to the hospital overnight, just to be sure. Everything seems ok though, so the next afternoon we are sent home. He's feeding well and doing everything a baby should. And there's no doubting his lung capacity.

We found a flat and moved in 3 weeks before the wedding and James birth. We decide to call him James as two Tony's would be confusing. We settle James into his Moses basket after his feed and curl up together on the sofa.

"I love you Mrs Perry" Tony tells me.

"Good" I laugh, making him smile.

"I love you too Mr Perry" I say. "And you as well, baby" I whisper to our sleeping beauty. He has Tony's big brown beautiful eyes. Could life actually be any better?
