Chapter 26

Leo POV

"Excuse me is this the Hunter's room?" Maria had her head down to avoid eye contact. "Maria?" I choked the words out. They were barely audible to me.

She raised her head just a bit. "Leo?" I stared at her and I felt so many emotions hit me at once. I nodded my head. Out the corner or my eye I saw Winter and and the rest of the group share looks. I didnt think anything of it.

"Oh Leo." She ran to me placing me in a little hug. She pulled back to examine my face. She looked me in the eyes with those green slightly grey orbs. She leaned in. 'Oh fuck, dude you are fucked.' That little subconscious voice in my head stated.'Yep.'

I looked around and saw everything happen in slow motion. All I saw was Tasha grab Maria and had her in the chock hold. I finally let go of the breath I have no idea that I was holding.

"What the hell?" Winter roared at Maria. "Who the hell are you?!" Maria yelled back. "She's my girlfriend/ future wife whom I just so happen to love deeply." I smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

"My name is Winter." She said that fiercely. That's a turn on. Shit I need some fresh air. I whispered in Winter's ear. "Babygirl don't worry I'll protect you. Keep you and your family safe. I promise." I quickly pecked her lips.

"Maria can I talk to you outside?" I walked towards the door. Once again I saw Winter flash James a look. He nodded his head as if he knew what she was saying. "Sure Leo."

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I whispered yelled outside the door "I had to tell you how much you meant to me. I went to rehab and got clean. Im done with Christopher an-." I cut her off. "Maria you think you can just come back here and tell me these things and expect me to just take you back.?" I was raising my voice.

"Then on top of that you're the reason my brother was killed. Plus you left me here heartbroken and you expect us to be friends? No I was abandoned and then Winter came along and showed me how much she loved me and I love her, so you can just leave."

I felt like braking somethin. "I just came here to tell you the truth and that you're in great danger. You and your girlfriend and your friends. Please be careful. Call me if you need me. Oh and tell Winter I apologize." Just like that she walked  off.

I entered the room and let me tell you the whole entire room looked uncomfortable. "What's wrong?" I mainly asked Winter cause she looked like she had some composure. "Im on my..uh.." She looked away.

"What?" I look confused. "Im on my uh. You know that thing that only girls do and they are all emotional?" She still looked away. Then it hit me. "Oh its your time of the month." I nodded my head. So did everyone else.

The nurse walked in great. "Winter you are free to go home." She exited the room. "Come on I'll help you." I picked her up and placed her in a wheel chair.

Once we arrived to my house Winter's emotions were gettin the best of her. She wanted chocolate and lot of it. I bought 17 snickers and guess how many are left. Yep none.

I didn't mind though. I went to the store bought her some tampons just like she said. Did I feel weird? Nope. I love to help my girlfriend. She is currently crying cause her stomach hurts. So Im rubbing it.

After 10 minutes she had fallen asleep in my lap. She had her head placed in between my jawline and shoulder. Her arms were around my neck slightly breathing me in.

After 10 more minutes I had went up to my room a placed her on the bed and went around and hopped in the bed too. I laid on my back, arms behind my head.

Next thing I knew was that Winter laid her head on my chest and grabbed on of my hands. She started mumbling. I kissed her forehead and went to sleep as well.
