Chapter 5

Leo's POV

After I finally got out of detention , Edward, Justin, and I were just talking and Winter comes up in the conversation. "So Leo do you like her?" Edward and Justin said in union. "What? Me falling for a nerd, Pa-lease." Was I really falling for a nerd? Impossible. "Dude we saw how you were lookin at her that look you always gave to Maria." Justin said that and looked guilty.

I said we were never to bring her up but Im not mad just hurt. I just replied " How could you see and you were basically having your faces torn apart by those bitches." They both just walked off stunned at my comment.

I just kept walking foward and stopped cause I heard beautiful singing. I peeked in the door and saw Winter singing and playing the guitar. She was singing a song I didn't recognize. She got up and moved to the piano and she was singing a certain part of a song.

"I don't need no beat I can sing with the piano ohhh ohhh." She hit that high note and I found a smile and it creeped onto my face.

I knocked on the door.. She jumped "H-hey Leo." she stammered. "Hey Winter." I nodded my head. "I just stopped by to say hi." I smiled at her and her face heated up I laughed. "You didn't hear any of that did you?" I shook my head "Only all of it." She put her head down in defeat. "It's ok. It was beautiful." Her head snapped back up and her eyes were just shifting colors.

I smiled at her."Are you going soft or is this a dream?" She asked pinching herself. "Im not soft and it's not a dream I just came to give you some advice." I sat at the piano and started playing. She sat in awe silence. I explain how she should play and her hand motion. Then I got up and asked her to play.

She failed a few times but got it right the fourth time. Then we both played together and we started singing and I knew she was surprised.

When we finished she placed her hand on mine and she pulled it away."Winter?How many boys have you kissed?" I tried to talk casually and maybe if she say a high number maybe I won't have the urge to kiss her. She put her head down."To be honest none."

I lifted her face so that she could look at me. Her eyes started to change color and she blushed the color of a tomato. I looked at her and leaned foward then I gave her a hug. She turned purple. "I hate you." she whispered in my ear. I just laughed.

We went outside. It looked like she didn't have a ride. Before I could speak she got on a dirt bike. "You have one of these and you know how to ride it?" I asked her shocked. She nodded her head started the bike then thanked me. "Thanks for the lesson Leo. Can you come closer?" I walked towards her and I bent my head down and she placed her lips softly on my cheek. Then she slapped me. "Next time you play with my emotions I'll kill you." After that I saw her pop a wheelie and blow the horn and then she was gone. I was gone too.
