Chapter Nine

Winter's POV

When I ranged the doorbell I heard a husky voice that belonged to Leo. When he answered the door he had nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. My eyes looked down admiring his body. "May I help you?" He sounded kinda annoyed. "I uh I wanted to talk to you." I said my voice cracked trying to get my head around the fact that Leo is naked. "May I come in?"I asked him he stepped aside waving at Tasha before closing the door.

"Wait a second Winter I'll go put some clothes on." I nodded for him to go on. I looked around this was a nice house and then I noticed a guitar."Who's guitar?" I called up to him. I wanted to play it. "Mine." he called back.

I took it sat on the couch and played it while singing.

I can't help being depressed when I look down at my chest.

Oh yes my chest it might as well be nonexistent.

How can I compete with 34 double d's.

And I am wrong in my eyes and I look down at my thighs.

They might as well take everything that I eat to my legs.

I am too broke for tonight.

Too lazy to exercise but if I had hazel eyes maybe I could be fly.

If I had no cellulite big breast and pockets real wide then maybe I maybe I-I-I could be fly.

If I had a small waist I'll make the boys go insane then maybe I maybe I -I -I could be fly. ( The song is So Fly btw)

As I was about to sing the next line I saw  Leo watching me. I blushed "Sorry." I told him looking away. I set the guitar down and patted next to me. "What is it Winter?" he questioned as he sat next to me.

"What was that at the party?"I eyed him.

It was a long silence before he spoke. "Winter listen whatever you do please promise me you will stay away from him he could really hurt you. He is bad news ok? We used to know each other way back when and he sell drugs and he got my friend in on it and she was treating me different and she started doing cocaine and heroin and he beat her. Winter do you understand please tell me you aren't going to be around him? He could get you in trouble or killed he might beat you if you say anything" He pleaded with helpless eyes. I stiffened are the word beat.

I nodded my head slowly. He sighed in happiness. I didn't move I just sat there. "He told me you were dangerous and to be cautious around you.". I told Leo carefully.

"What is that about?" I continued

"I've done some things Im not proud of and in result of it I've lost someone dear to me." he spoke in a whisper so I had to listen closely.

"Winter please don't judge me or be frighten." he held his head down. "I won't I promise." I lifted his chin up.

"Winter why did you stiffen at the word beat?" He asked me I looked away from his eyes afraid of what to say to him. He looked at me and held my hand. "Tell me Winter." he urged.

"When I was little me dad used to beat on me and my mom constantly. He would get drunk and call my mom names and he would tell her to do something and if she didn't move he'd beat her senseless. Whenever I'd cry by her side he'd tell me to stop crying and when I didn't he'd beat on me. One time he beat me so bad I couldn't see out my eyes for days and my mom would constantly cover for him. Until one day he beat my mom and her employee came to drop off some work and he heard screaming and he came in and beat my dad until he coughed up blood." By the time I finished I was already crying at the memory.

"Winter don't cry it's ok." he pulled me to him as I cried in his chest.

He pulled my head up and placed his lips softly on mine and I kissed him back eagerly. He licked my bottom lip asking for an entrance. I granted that shit.

Our tounges explored each others mouths. He tasted minty fresh like Icebreakers. We pulled away breathless and he wiped my tears.

"Winter would like to stay the night?" he asked looking away. "I would." I grabbed husky hand and followed him to his room and I asked him questions. "Do you remember that girl that used to stick up for you in elementary?" I examined him while he went through his draw. "Mhm if I see her again I'd thank her." he said "Well you did thank me just down stairs."

"What?!" he looked shocked "You're four eyed Winter?" he questioned. I nodded. " Omg I never realized it until now. You've grown alot since then I knew that it was something about you that I liked." I blushed a little. "Well what do you want to wear to sleep?" he asked me. I looked through the draw and found a mint and black button down shirt. "This is perfect." I held it up.

Leo stepped up as I changed and I glanced at a picture on the wall it was Leo and Maria that we went to high school with but she moved before she came and that left Leo heart broken cause he lost hid bestfriend. I wonder where is she now.

When I finished I opened the door and I got in the bed and Leo stood in the doorway. "I'll sleep in the guest room" he started to walk out.

"Wait stay please don't go." I got out the cover and forgot I didn't button the shirt up. The shirt matched my bra and panties.

"Now I see why you chose that shirt nice choice." He pointed out admiring my body. I pulled him in the bed and I scooted close to him and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me deeper into him and I quickly fell asleep in his arms. I did feel those soft kisses on my lips and forehead before drifting off.
