I stand up, walking to the kitchen and grab myself a glass of water.

Was that dream real or just a figure of my imagination?

It was now five and in the morning, meaning I had to begin heading out to work at seven, seeing I would not be going to back to sleep anytime soon, I decided to stay awake. I take a seat down on the kitchen bench and lean my elbows onto the kitchen top. If that dream was really Mr Wei's son could be a possible suspect, at least I have a lead. Did Mr Wei really slap my father in his days as a junior prosecutor and if it wasn't Mr Wei's son, which he seems to deny firmly. Then how do I begin the case?

I take the last gulp of water from the cup before washing it and putting back in its rightful place in my kitchen cupboard. Before getting ready for work, brushing my teeth, changing into the appropriate attire and eating breakfast. After my usual routine, I sit down on the couch, grabbing a fresh new notebook and jotting down everything that had happened in my dream. From the old wooden accents to Mr Wei's defiance, I wrote it all down because if this dream was a memory shard of the past; it would be a great lead. If the case is authorised again that is. I contemplated whether or not to tell Jungkook since this wasn't really solid evidence, more about my imagination getting the best of me. I decided not to since it was based on assumptions.

I grabbed my bag with the case file and notebook inside and headed to the train station early, maybe I can ride the train a few extra stops so I could ask Jungkook some questions. Being six in the morning, the traffic was fantastic and I arrived at the station in a flash, stepping onto the train at six twenty. I took a seat in the same carriage was yesterday, taking out the files and notebook, placing them in front of me. I sat their quietly, reading the files and waiting for Jungkook to pass or come by.

I knew if he was around if the air suddenly fell cold. I took notes in my notebook as I continued to read through the files page by page, jotting down things I thought could be useful. Of course, I had to return this file since I could not keep it, so I might pop by the photocopier later on in the day. I suddenly realised, why am I doing all this work when the case has not even been authorised, I realised how much willpower I had which was already channelled in solving this case when I didn't even receive an okay yet. This proves how much I wanted for the case, maybe for my curiosity or for Jungkook but I am not going back in my word, I am going to put one hundred percent into this case. Like every other case, I had worked on. Or maybe it was how broken Jungkook looked when he asked me to help him, or the sweet smile he displayed when I accepted the case. He was so sweet, it hurt to see him trapped in this train with no one to talk to. I have to solve the case for Jungkook.

But I hadn't thought about if the case of rejected, I mean there was a high chance of this happening. Since it had to go through Mr Wei to get it re-investigated and if my dream was correct he would be one hundred percent against it.

My thoughts were interrupted by the familiar cold breeze enveloping the warm atmosphere inside the cart. Man, I should start bringing coats with me onto the train, I shivered. I knew he was around, embracing myself with my third encounter with a ghost. I still couldn't think up of ideas as to how this is possible, but I don't question it anymore. Accepting the fact and getting used to seeing him. "Bo~."

"Good morning Jungkook." I interrupted his attempt to scare me.

"How'd you know it was here?" He huffed in defeat, taking a seat down in front of me on the floor.

"The ice on the windows gave it away." I pointed out, not turning my gaze away from analysing the files in front of me.

"Dam it." I hear him curse. "You are here early today, you didn't come as last yesterday. "My pen freezes upon hearing his statement and the atmosphere becomes thick. I hesitate for a moment, turning my gaze from the papers and nervously looking around the cart before I resume writing. After I thought up of an excuse, I can't straight up reply with; I had a dream about the past. I think he would think I was crazy. Besides, it might not even be true.

"I work up early and decided to spend it on the train to get to know you better since I will be working with you a lot on this case." I made up.

"Are you sure it's that?" He smirked, I frowned my eyebrows in confusion and look up from my papers. Looking down onto Jungkook.

"What are you implying?"

Crap, have I been caught? Or am I just being paranoid as usual?

"It wasn't just an excuse to see me?" He smiled, holding up his hands to his face cutely. I let out a deep sigh of relief, he was just making a joke.

"Hahaha no." I laughed, covering up the panic attack I just had in my subconscious.

"You didn't miss my adorable face?" He pouted. I laughed hard, grasping my stomach.

"Hahaha right, I missed a ghost." I sarcastically snapped back.

"Ohh you will be missing me soon." He smirked. After my laughter died down, I decide to bring up the sole reasons for my early appearance at the train station the morning. To hear his side of the story.

"Jungkook, since I have more than half an hour with you, could please explain to me the whole story?" I inquired, changing the subject. I quickly grabbed my pen and notebook in hand, ready to jot down any clues or the story as a whole.

"I guess I have to if I need your help, huh?" He sighed whilst taking a deep breath, recollecting himself. I nodded slowly in reply with an encouraging smile.

"It's okay if you don't want to, we can do it another time." I offered, I caught onto the reluctance in his voice when I asked. I understand, I mean, if I was in the same situation, I don't think I would want to remember the past. But we didn't have a choice.

"No it's okay, it's something which needs to be done." He quickly responded in a calm tone.

"Okay then, start from the beginning."
