Chapter Fourteen: Ex

THIRD PERSON POV:

"Good afternoon, sir the BT news is doing a report on his neighbourhood, we would love you to participate to ensure the most accurate results." You bit your nails nervously in the car which was parked at the beginning of the street Dou lived in. Namjoon and Yoongi had just knocked on Dou's house.

"Not interested," Dou replied with little to no emotion in his tone before hastily slamming the door. Luckily Namjoon quickly reacted and slipped his foot in between the door.

"Please sir, it will only take a minute or two." Namjoon smiled kindly.

"Fine." Dou simply rolled his eyes and opened the door wide enough for three to pick up his conversation.

"Would you say this part of Korea is a nice place to visit?" Namjoon began reading from his note cards.

"No." He bluntly replied.

"Okay, next question." Namjoon's smiled changed from a kind smile to a nervous one. He had a feeling he would be only getting 'yes' and 'no' answers from the man which was no help what so ever. If Dou really did kill Jungkook he was talking to a murder. "Is this area safe for couples and families?" 

"Sometimes."

"Sometimes?" Yoongi repeated with a frown.

"DOU WHO IS IT?" The three hear a male voice from inside the house. A taller male figure appeared in front of them at the door. Wrapping his arm around Dou's shoulder lovingly.

"Oh aren't you one of the reporters from BT news?" Unlike Dou this man seems more friendly not only that but he recognised Namjoon. He greeted the two with a handshake and a warm smile. The two stood dumbfounded and confused as the male had yet to introduce himself.

"Oh sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name is Stephen, Dou's boyfriend." 

"Ahh nice to meet you." Namjoon bowed politely to the friendly male. He had beautiful blue eyes and brown hair which was shaved from the sides.

"What's brings you here?" Stephen places his arm on his hip and leaned himself against Dou as their conversation continued. 

"Oh we are just doing some research on this area or a new report, we wanted to get the people who actually live here's opinions." Namjoon lied.

"Ohh okay, hit us." Stephan smiled kindly.

"Have you seen any malicious activity around this area that makes it unsafe?" Namjoon continued on. He had to admit, having Stephen's presence here made him feel less nervous. His boyfriend seemed to be friendly or not a murder.

"NOo, except his ex-stalking around." Stephan nudged Dou lightly in a joking manner, only to be scolded by the intimidating man.

"Your ex?" Yoongi frowned.

"Yeah well you see Dou didn't end things well with his ex and I think he is kinda~." Dou quickly slapped his palm on top of Stephan's mouth to prevent him from saying anything else.

"Thank you and goodbye." He quickly said before closing the door. Yoongi and Namjoon starred at the closed door in confusion.

What just happened?

"Huh, what happened?" You asked through the microphone when no sound could be heard through of the speakers in the car. You thought there was a problem with the speaker so you tapped it lightly but it did nothing.

Meanwhile, Namjoon and Yoongi could hear loud shouting coming from inside of the house, they quickly hushed you so they could listen to their conversation. 

"STEPHAN, YOU DON'T GO AROUND TELLING NEW REPORTERS ABOUT MY EX, I COULD GET INTO SERIOUS TROUBLE!" 

"Oh, I am sorry."  They hear Dou sigh deeply. "Come on, I'll make it up to you with a snuggle session on the couch. That was the queue for Yoongi and Namjoon to go back to the car. 

"Why would he get into serious trouble?" You spoke with a puzzled expression as Yoongi and Namjoon arrived inside the car.

"Unless he has something to hide." Yoongi smiled.

"Well, we didn't get the exact information we wanted but at least we got something." Namjoon shrugged as he started up the car.

"By something you mean, we found out he has a crazy ex who stalks him, yeah, great news." You sarcastically pointed out. Yoongi leaned back in the passenger and high-fived you proudly as an evil grin made its way onto your face.

"Hey, I don't think the added addition of sarcasm comes with my car." Namjoon retorted before sending you a glare through the front mirror.

"Ha, ha, ha, funny." You responded with a glare. "But with all seriousness, we didn't really get anything from that, all that planning for nothing." You sighed frustratedly before slumping into the back seat of the car.

"So much time wasted." Yoongi sighed as well.

"What do you mean wasted, at least we know he is hiding something." Namjoon tried to cheer the two negative people in the car up.

"I guess." You murmured under your breath.

"Exactly." Namjoon smiled satisfactorily. The falls silent as the car continued to travel down the road, back to your house. When an idea suddenly popped into your head. If you could find Dou's ex maybe he could provide the three of you with some answers. It was worth a shot since the previous plan was a bust.

"Yah knowwwww." You began.

"We knowwww what?" You could see Yoongi raise an eyebrow in the rear mirror. "Nothing ever comes out good after a 'you know."

"It might be useful to interview Dou's ex." You trailed off.

"Yes and yoouu knowww, it would be helpful to know his name which we do not, how are we supposed to find him?" Yoongi sighed whilst rubbing his temples. "It's like we're on some wild goose chase."

"I am sure he posted things about him on Facebook." You shrugged.

"It's worth a shot." You smiled happily, maybe this would help the three of you dive deeper into the investigation and finally find out the truth.

I am trying to get back into writing these chapters and I can't seem to write anything I am happy with. I am so sorry for the recent sucky chapters and the lack of Jungkook in them. I promise some nice chapters are coming up soon....soon
