Prodigy watched as Alexadrine cleaned his room. The room filled with silence was broken by Prodigy speaking, “I’m sorry.” He mumbled making

Alexadrine stopped for his shoe and looked at him. “What?” she asked.

“I’m sorry.” He said louder.

“For what?” she stood up.

“For what I accused you of.” He spoke.

“Oh you mean the fact that you said I pretended to love you so I can meet Roc again?” she retorted crossing her arms.

Prodigy dropped his head sighing. “Yes and I’m really sorry. Being without you is making me sick. Plus it made me realize that the saying ‘you never know what you got until it’s gone’ is true. I love you. I never stopped and never will stop.” He lifted his head. Alexadrine faked sneezed making him look at her confused.

“I’m sorry, it’s just that I’m allergic to bullshit.” She remarked.

“It’s not bullshit. I really do love you.” He said on the verge of tears.

“How do I know if that’s just a cover up for your childish story?” she used his words on him. Prodigy stood up but fell to the floor due to the pain and numbness in his legs. “Prod stop you’re gonna hurt yourself more.” She walked over to him. “Come on, get up.” She leaned forward to help him up.

“No.” Prodigy stopped her and got on his knees. He winced in pain as he balanced himself on his barely stable legs.

“Seriously Prod. You’re not gonna do anything but make your legs worse.” She said.

“Shh!” he hushed her when he looked up. She raised her eyebrow at him shocked. Without another word Prodigy grabbed her hands and kissed them. “Alexadrine Unique Hopps I am truly sorry for the things I said to or thought about you that day. I’m not done with you and I do think, wait no, I do know you’re angelic. I love you with all my heart and all I’m asking is that you do same like we used to be. Maybe more than we did last time. Please Alex can we try again?” Prodigy poured his heart out to her. She stayed silent looking in his eyes, from which she could see he was serious. His heart raced when she opened to speak.

“I forgive you. And I love you too.” She spoke relieving Prodigy from his worry or rejection, some pain from his body, and ache from his heart. He smiled looking in her eyes as she did the same. With the strength Prodigy regained he slowly stood up. He leaned towards Alexadrine and pecked her lips. He pulled her closer to deepen the kiss. She held onto his biceps while he slid his hands down to her waist.

“Kids! We’re home!” Mamma C yelled walking in the house with Mr. Craig.

“Shh!” Laylah looked at her parents. In return they looked at her shocked. Kaaliyah pointed into Prodigy’s room, making Mamma C and Mr. Craig look in to see Prodigy standing again and kissing Alexadrine.

“There back together.” Mamma C smiled resting her head on Mr. Craig’s chest as everyone watched the couple pull away and stare into each other’s eyes.
