Alexadrine, Prodigy, Jacob, Zuzana, Terry, Rosaline, Faith, Roc, Ray, and Princeton stood in the living making sure everything was ready.
“Okay I think we have everything.” Terry pulled out his keys.
“Wait one thing.” Alexadrine paused. “Who’s riding with who?”
“In my car Jacob, Zuzana, and Rosaline.” Terry answered.
“And the rest with us I guess.” Prodigy said as they walked out. Once everyone was in the car Prodigy and Terry drove off. In Terry’s car, they talked, blasted music, and playfully argued.
“You know I’ve always wondered what high school is like.” Princeton broke the silence in Prodigy’s car.
“Yeah me too.” Prodigy and Ray nodded.
“Especially since we don’t get to go.” Roc spoke.
“It’s okay. Not really what it’s cracked up to be.” Alexadrine shrugged.
“Can you tell us stories?” Princeton asked.
“Uhm sure.” Alexadrine and Faith started thinking of experiences to tell them. For the rest of the three hour drive the girls told the guys their high school experiences.
“Yay! We’re almost there!” Ray exclaimed with five minutes of the drive left.
“Hold on my brother’s calling me.” Alexadrine spoke. “Wah guan brethren?” she greeted in her West Indian accent.
“Nothing just calling to see if you guys were almost there.” Jacob spoke.
“Yeah.” She replied.
“Okay make sure you go to the hotel first.” He said.
“Well duh. We know that.”
“Okay be like that then. Bye.” Jacob hung up.
“Jacob said to go to the hotel first.” She told Prodigy.
“You know what I just realized?” he asked as he took the exit off the highway.
“What?” she looked at him from her phone.
“It’s been about three hours since I’ve gotten a kiss.” He stopped at a stoplight.
“Oh that sucks.” She shrugged in response.
“Yeah and I think I should fix that.” He looked at her.
“Really? How?” she giggled.
“Come here and I’ll show you.” He smiled leaning closer to her.
“Prod stop not in front of them.” She shook her head trying to fan him away. She giggled when he pecked her shoulder. “Okay, you’ve have your kiss now.” She pushed him away. He grabbed her hand and kissed it before rubbing it with his thumb.
“You know you have soft meat.” He joked making her giggle.
“That was lame.” Ray shook his head. Faith smacked his shoulder and shushed him.
“You’ve told me that before.” Alexadrine smiled.
“Yep. When I bought you this ring.” Prodigy held up her hand looking at it.
“Damn. I knew he bought her a ring but I didn’t know it looked like that.” Roc whispered surprised. Faith looked at him annoyed as Prodigy pressed the accelerator.
“I’ve never taken it off.” Alexadrine looked at it.
“Really? Even when we broke up?” Prodigy asked.
“Yep.” She nodded in response.
“They broke up?” Princeton whispered to Faith. “When?” she shrugged and put her finger over her mouth.
“Wow. Why?” Prodigy looked at her.
“I don’t know. I guess because you bought it for me and put it on so I couldn’t take it off myself.” Alexadrine shrugged.
“You know I’m sorry about that right?” Prodigy asked glancing at his girlfriend who he adored.
“Yes and I told you its fine.” She nodded.
“Are you sure? It doesn’t feel like.” He asked making Alexadrine nod in response.
“Finally we’re at the hotel!” Ray yelled as Prodigy pulled into its parking lot. Everyone got out the car and stretched.
“Okay let’s get our bags into our rooms and we can head out to Six Flags.” Terry spoke. Everyone nodded, getting their bags to check into the hotel before going to Six Flags.
