"Whoo! Put your hands up Prince!" Alexadrine cheered.
"I like this ride too!" Princeton yelled raising his hands.
"I told you, you would." Alexadrine laughed.
“Where to next?” Princeton asked as the ride came to an end.
“To the hotel.” Alexadrine answered.
“How? Terry and Prod have the keys to the car.” Princeton got off and helped Alexadrine off.
“I have a way.” She smiled making him furrow his eyebrows in confusion. “Follow me.” She led him to a semi-hidden area.
“How are we gonna get to the hotel from here?” Princeton looked around.
“Grab my hand.” Alexadrine held it out. Slowly he grabbed it . “Don’t let go.” She warned before she orbed out.
“Oh shit.” Jacob sensed Alexadrine orb out.
“What’s wrong?” Zuzana asked concerned.
“Alex.” He spoke looking around catching Prodigy’s attention. “I just remembered I have to tell her something.” He lied awkwardly before starting to walk away. “I’ll be back.” He disappeared from their sight into a secluded area. He sighed shaking his head while orbing out to follow Alexadrine’s orb.
“Whoa! What the hell did we just do?” Princeton yelled in fear when he and Alexadrine orbed into her and Prodigy’s room.
“We orbed.” Alexadrine answered reaching for her bag.
“Alex are you crazy? What the hell are thinking?” Jacob bellowed when he orbed in the room.
“Whoa. Where’d you come from?” Princeton jumped.
“Alex why did you show him our secret?” Jacob asked. She opened her mouth to speak but Jacob stopped her. “Freeze him.”
“What?” Princeton and Alexadrine blurted.
“Freeze him.” Jacob repeated. Alexadrine sighed and jerked her hands. The jumped when Princeton screamed since they were expecting him to freeze. “Dammit!” Jacob muttered realizing Alexadrine got a new power.
“What was that?” Alexadrine asked.
“Molecular combustion.” Jacob paused. “Otherwise known as blowing up.”
“What the hell did you do to me?” Princeton yelled out in anger and pain.
“I’m sorry Prince. That was an honest mistake, I promise.” Alexadrine spoke walking towards him.
“No stay away from me.” He yelled backing up.
“Let me help you. I can heal you.”
“No why should I trust you? You just tried to kill.”
“Do you wanna bleed out?” Jacob stepped in.
“No.”
“Well let her heal you.” Jacob spoke.
“Hold out your arm.” Alexadrine spoke. Slowly Princeton extended his arm toward her. When his arm was close enough Alexadrine held her hand over the burn. Princeton watched as his burn slowly started to disappear.
“I don’t mean to sound rude but um, what are you?” Princeton looked at his arm and then up to Alexadrine.
“We’re half witch and half whitelighter.” Jacob walked over to Alexadrine and Princeton. “Prince how are you at keeping secrets?” Jacob asked.
“Wait is this supposed to be a secret?” Princeton stood up.
“Yep.” Alexadrine and Jacob both nodded.
“And you want me to keep it?” Princeton asked.
“Pleas?” Alexadrine begged. Princeton stood there in silence. “Please Prince if everyone found out about us we’d taken away.” She added.
“Fine but only if you’re not evil.” Princeton retorted.
“If we were evil, don’t you think you’d be dead by now?” alexadrine inquired.
“I don’t know. You could be using a cover-up.” He shrugged making alexadrine fill with anger from the words that Prodigy used. Jacob gasped realizing Alexadrine was forming an energyball and flicked his hand orbing Princeton just enough to miss the energyball. “Oh shit! What was that?” Princeton looked around scared when he orbed back in.
“That word is kinda of soft spot still.” Jacob spoke.
“What word?” Princeton asked.
“Cover up.” Jacob whispered but alexadrine still heard him. “Alex stop with the energyballs.”
“Sorry.” She dropped her hand. “I guess im still mad from earlier.” She slumped onto the bed behind her.
“Come on, we gotta go back.” Jacob pulled on her arm.
“No, Im going to get myself a room. You two can go back.” She stood up. “Now if youll excuse me I have a new room to move to.” She grabbed her suitcase and walked towards the door. “Bye.” She called out as Jacob and Princeton orbed out.
“Where’s Alex?” Faith asked when Princeton and Jacob joined the group.
“She said she was tired so she’s walking back to the hotel.” Jacob lied.
“Oh.” Prodigy spoke. “Um you missed Batman by the way. But we are about to get on Mr. Freeezeman.” He added.
“Okay let’s go.” Jacob smiled. After the ride everybody packed into the cars. As soon as Prodigy parked the car he got out and ran to the room he and Alexadrine were sharing for the night. He opened the door to a room with only his suitcases. He gasped catching everybody’s attention.
“What happened?” they rushed to the door.
“She’s gone.” Prodigy managed though speechless. “Would any of you know where she went?” he looked behind him. Everybody looked at Jacob and Princeton.
“What? All she said was that she was going back to the hotel to lay down.” Jacob lied.
“Can I be alone?” Prodigy sighed sitting on the bed. They all left except Faith.
“Hey I can find out what room she’s in if you want.” Faith stood beside the bed as Prodigy laid back.
“Please?” he looked at her. “Thanks.” He slightly smiled when she nodded.
“I’ll let you know.” She spoke as she left.
