Chapter ~5~

Peeta POV

I wake up and look at Katniss's sleeping form. I love her so much. I see her eyes fluttering open and a smile forming on her lips. She says "Good morning." I move my lips to hers and gently kiss her. Just then the door bursts open and Toby and Nick barge in. I say "What the Hell are you doing?" Toby says "You owe me a dollar Nick!" Katniss sits up and says "What's going on?" Toby explains "Nick and I made a bet, and I won!" I say "What was the bet?" Nick says "Well I said that you two would be naked and that you would have had sex even though dad said not to get Katniss prego and-" Toby cuts him off by saying "And I said that you would have clothes on, so I win!" I say "Get OUT!" They both run out and I say "I'm so sorry about them Katniss." She just laughs and says "It's okay." She is laying on top of me and she slowly lowers her luscious lips to mine. We immediately open our mouths and our tongues fight for dominance. She tugs at my hair as I pull her closer to me.

We jump away when we hear the door opening. Toby laughs and says "Sorry for interrupting! Dad just told me to tell you that we are going on a stocking trip for bakery supplies. Katniss is welcome to come." Katniss says "What's a stocking trip?" I tell her "It's where we go to a huge store and stock up on supplies for the bakery. It's about a three and a half hour drive." She says "Well I'm not doing anything so I guess I'll tag along." I smile and say "Cool." Toby says "I'm warning you guys don't start making out in the car. Nick won't shut up about it if you do. And Peeta, do you really want to be sticking your tongue down a girl's throat in front of your dad and brothers?" I feel my cheeks heating up and see that Katniss is already an adorable shade of pink. I say "We'll be down in about an hour. We have to take showers and get ready." He leaves and we get up. I say "Do you want to shower first or second?" She says "I guess I'll go first if you don't mind." And then she sashays into my bathroom. I sit and wait for her to be done. After awhile I hear the bathroom door open. Katniss is standing in front of me, dripping wet, and barely covered with a teeny towel. She sees me staring and I try to look away. She laughs and says "I don't care if you look Peeta." I raise my eyes and she smiles at me.

She walks over to her bag and gets clothes out. She says "close your eyes for a sec. Peeta." I do until a second later when she says I can open them. She has only underwear on and is gathering her bra off the floor. Everything is hanging down. She picks up her bra and slips her arms through the straps, so that it hangs loosely on her shoulders.She says "Can you get the clasp?" I stand up and hook it. She says "Thanks my baker-boyfriend!" I smile as she puts on skinny jeans and a t-shirt. I get in the shower and quickly wash myself. I get out and wrap a towel around my waist before going into my bedroom. Katniss is perched on my bed, waiting. Her eyes light up when she sees me. She says "You're abs are amazing." I smile and find clothes. I tell katniss to close her eyes so I can put some boxers on. She does with a smirk on her lips. I quickly get my boxers on and I think I see Katniss peaking through her eyelashes. Oh well. I say "You can open your eyes now." She does and then walks up to me. She runs her hands all over me. I shiver because it feels so good.

She stops and pushes her lips to mine. I kiss her back and then gently break away. I say "Katniss I have to get dressed." She smiles and says "Okay but let me say goodbye to your beautiful abs first." She bends down and kisses my abs. Then she lightly brushes her hand against my crotch. I say "Katniss! If we don't stop we will never get out of here!" She smiles and then seductively says "Okay, but you can't hide from me forever." I say "Okay, but same goes for you." She gives me a quick peck on the lips before skipping out of my room. I get dressed and then head downstairs. Nick says "Took you long enough Peeta!" My dad says "Is everyone ready to go?" After a chorus of yes we go get in the car. My dad and Toby sit in the front, with Nick, Katniss, and me in the back. Katniss sits between me and Nick. I put my arm around her and she leans her head on my shoulder. I whisper in her ear "I love you Katniss." She smiles and says "I love you too."
