When I get home, I realize that my face had a red spot on it from Dipper slapping me. I open the door trying to cover my face.
"What happened? You know our feelings are connected. You felt scared and your heart was beating very fast. What happened?!?"
I look at him but don't answer.
"Bethany Cipher, tell me what happened at school, and why is there a mark on your face?!?"
"Dip- I mean Pine Tree slapped me."
He looked at me like I just said something stupid.
"I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THE PINES"
"Well I'm friends with Shooting Star."
"Bethany, why did Pine Tree slap you?"
"When I told him my last name was Cipher, he knew automatically, that you're my dad. Then he slapped me and yelled at me. He was saying stuff like "you're dad cost me and and my family so much." He was about to punch me, but Shooting Star was holding him back. "
"Stay away from Pine Tree, you hear me Bethany? Stay away from him!"
"Yes dad."
