The next morning, we went to the Greasy's Diner for pancakes.

A lady named Lazy Susan with one eyed closed came to take our order, "Hi what can I get for you today?"

"20 PANCAKES!". Mabel screamed.

"I really shouldn't let that kid order..anywhere!" Stan said. We all laughed at his joke. Mabel was busy saying she will be the family "orderer"

When I was around the Pines I felt welcomed and happy. I was looking at my menu when I felt someone staring at me it was Dipper, who was sitting across from me. I blushed, and put a piece of my hair behind my ear.

Then I looked out the window, it thought i had saw an eye, similar to my dads. I almost forgot to call him.

"May I borrow someone's phone please?" I asked looking around our booth. Dipper shook his head, as did Mabel. Grunkle Stan said "Not a chance kid." Grunkle Ford said his phone only communicated with other dimensions.

I went outside to use the pay phone, punched in dads number and let it ring.

" Hello?"

"Hi dad, its me Bethany"

"Hello Bethany, are you having a fun time with the Pines?" I see you and Pine Tree have grown close!"

"Dad, could you please let me live my life without you knowing everything I do?"

"Bethany, remember who is way more powerful than you and, oh yeah, is your Father!!"

"OK, OK I'm leaving by-"

"It won't be like this forever."

"What?"

"The Pines family. The rest of them will eventually figure out who you are and what blood is running through your demonic veins."

"You're wrong Dad."

"I'm never wrong."

"This time..you are."

My brain said "Yes, he isn't wrong. He never is." My heart, on the other hand said "He's wrong. They will accept you". I don't know which one to listen to.
