The next day at school, I talked to Mabel in art class. We were supposed to draw how we feel.
"What are you drawing Sho-..I mean Mabel?"
"I'm drawing you, me Candy, and Brenda because I am inviting you to a sleepover at the Mystery Shack!!!"
I could tell she was excited and I didn't want to let her down.
"I can probably go, but just in case I'll ask my dad. Oh, after school can You,Candy,Grenda walk home together. We can drop them off first, since they know how to get to your house, then we can make a stop at my house, get my stuff and leave sound like a plan?"
"Yeah!!" She was beaming when she said this.
"What are you drawing Bethany?"
"Oh, I'm drawing the woods. Because the woods give me a feeling that I'm alone."
"So what are those triangles for?"
"Oh those! They represent my dad, and how he always watching everything I do."
"Oh yeah Bethany can I call you Beth?"
"Oh..um..sure I guess if that's what you want."
The bell rang, I said bye to Mabel and went to my Photography class-with Dipper.
I saw him walk into the room. The second he saw me, he gave me a dirty look. Of all things, why do I have to be a Cipher?
Class was over and Dipper purposely bumped into me, making me drop my humongous textbook.
"Oh sorry, let me get that," He said loudly
"Listen Bethany I don't know what you and your dad are planning, but I will find out."
"Listen Dipper, me and my dad are not planning anything so why don't you and your Pine Tree hat go back into the woods, where you belong?!?"
He looked surprised that I actually came up with a comeback.
"Whatever" as he said that, he pulled down his hat.
