"Stand down Bill, stand down." Ford said.

"Dad, you were never family. And a family would never posses each other. A family would love each other. Like this family. They treat each other as siblings, not slaves."

"Oh, daughter you think you can beat me? Without me you have no where to go, without me you havenno one."

"You're wrong, she has us."Dipper said from behind Bill.

"Oh hello, Pine Tree, Shooting Star. Do you think you can defend my daughter? You think you will mean anything to her?"

I blasted him with fire.

"OW! What was that for?"

"For talking to my friends like that! They can defend me, and they do mean something to me. They mean more to me than you ever will or ever have." While saying this my red aurora was forming and I was blasting him, chanting spells under my breath.

"Ford NOW!" We both blasted my dad. Ford with his 2 rays guns and me with my hands.

Bill was now laying on the floor. Laughing.

"Why are you laughing, we defeated you?" Ford was concerned and surprised my dad was laughing.

"I'm laughing because i'm surprises that my daughter could only do so little to me. I'm laughing at how weak you mortals are. I told you Bethany this town is weak, they're too scared."

"YOU'RE WRONG. I HEARD HOW THEY DEFEATED YOU LAST TIME. THEY WEREN'T AFRAID TO DO THAT. YOU ARE JUST AFRAID THEY WILL DEFEAT YOU AGAIN AND SEND YOU PACKING INTO THE NIGHTMARE REALM!"

This time I hit him with everything I had every learned from him. He shot though the roof landing on the front lawn. He got up, stumbling.

"You know what, daughter? I've had enough of you. Since you love the Pines family so much you can spend your life here in this weak little town. Let's see how you survive. Let's see if you make it. You will never come home."

"Guess what dad? I already have a home. I never needed you. All you did was make me feel weak. And last them I checked you hated feeling weak. But you leaving is a sign of weakness."

I blasted him away. He was gone. To protect the town, Ford recommend I put up a dome, only allowing mortals and me in.

When we got back to the Mystery Shack we celebrated.

"Kid, you got guts standing up to Bill like that. I like that." Stan nodded with approval

"I still don't know how you did it. Still doing the calculations." I looked at him confused, but expected it from someone as smart as him.

"You were sooooooo brave. And you looked sooooooo cool doing all that. It was like blast blast, pew, pew!" I smiled at how happy Mabel was.

The only  I got from Dipper was a very long hug and:

"Thank you Bethany. For everything"

"Dipper, I should be saying thank you. You and your family have made me so happy over the past week!"

We smiled at each other and high fived because after all that I needed something as normal as a high five.

"*Cough Cough* Hello Earth, to Beth and Dipping Sauce?!? Are we interrupting something?"

"No, your fine Mabel. Can I ask you all something?"

"Shoot." Stan said

"Since my dad left and I can't really live alone, because I can't pay the rent or buy anything for me to live, would it be possible if I could stay with you guys for a while?'"

"YES!!" Everyone said this in unison, while running over to me, to hug me.

"Thank you guys so much. You're probably the only family I will ever have. Thank you."

S:"But one condition, could you work at the Mystery Shack. I hate to admit this but, I'm getting old and I need someone to show around the tourist"

F:"Also another condition, you have to let examine and research you."

M:"You also have to do scrapbooking with me!!!"

D:"One last thing, could you fill in information about Bill in the Journal."

"Yes"

"To which one of us?" Mabel asked, turning her head sideways.

"All of you!"
