Red filled the irises of my eyes. My hate for him fueled me to my breaking point. I know, I need to stay put, I can't give away my position. But I couldn't stop myself, my body took over. I rushed his guards, taking down each and everyone of them. I faced my Commander with rage in my eyes, ready to attack. He just looked at me with disgust in his eyes and judgement in his voice.
"I wouldn't recommend attacking me. That is unless you'd rather me kill off your little friend."
He pulled out a compact screen, and on it was a boy struggling for his freedom. Kai. He hadn't run off at all, he was captured. This just fueled my rage even more, so I striked, and I failed. He took me down with one fatal blow to my head. Before I blinked out of consciousness, all I could hear was his vile voice repeating over and over in my head.
"Punish the boy."
I wake in a cold and damp cell. My head throbbing in pain, blood trickling down the side of it. I try to sit up, but I'm too weak to even do a simple task like that. A voice soon appears in my head, repeating the same phrase over and over.
"Punish the boy."
Kai! I have to get to him before they do. I force myself to my feet swaying with every step I take. I stumble to the iron door, looking through the cell bars on the window, trying to study my surroundings. I recognize this place. I'm in the dungeon back at headquarters. I have to find a way out. Outside of my cell stands three guards, ready to attack. I look around my cell, searching for something to get me out of here. I notice a loose brick on the wall. I urge the stone out of the walls grasp, and there a hidden passage is revealed. I shimmy through the tunnel until I come to a brick with light flooding through it's cracks. I remove the stone only to reveal a room. My room.
