Millie's pov

Today is Thursday. I get to my first class, Language, and everyone is already there. I take my bookbag off and sit down, and the teacher starts telling us what we are doing today. Boring, as usual. Nothing really happens.

"Okay!! Time to present your conversations!!" My Spanish teacher said, and my eyes widened. I totally forgot about it. Everyone started to talk after she announced it, and I just sat there, really nervous.

"Millie, it will be fine." Finn said to me, with his smile making me smile. I'm still nervous about it though.

The bell rang and I got out of there as fast as I could. Finn ran to catch up with me. My face was bright red.

"Millie, our presentation wasn't that bad." Finn said, as I'm still walking.

"It wasn't, but I don't like to talk, if you didn't know." I snapped back at him, and he just laughed. He didn't respond back, and we just walked to lunch. We sat down and everyone was there, and we all just ate lunch and talked. Then, a teacher walked up to me.

"Ms Brown? You need to come to the guidance office with me please." She said, and I nodded, looking at everyone else. I walked into the guidance office and they told me to sit down.

"Ms Brown, your mom...has been in an accident." She said. My heart dropped.

"What type of accident?" I asked.

"She has been in a car accident, and is in the hospital in critical condition." She said.

"Mom?" I said, walking into her room. She wasn't awake, probably unconscious.

"She is unconscious, she had a bad hit to her head, and damaged her arms a little bit. She still hasn't waken up, so we won't know exactly what to do until she wakes up." The doctor said, telling me the information I have to know.  She walked out of the room, and a few minutes later, Sadie walked in the room.

"Are you okay???" Sadie asked, and I nodded my head.

"You can stay with me until your mom wakes up, you're always welcome." Sadie said.

"Okay, but I'll have to grab some of my clothes." I said, and Sadie nodded. She drove me back to my house, and we got inside. Not even a minute later, there was a knock at my door. I opened it, and it was Grace and Maddie.

"Are you okay?? I heard what happened, the guidance counselor told everyone." They said, and I just nodded. They hugged me, and then I closed the door, after they came in. We all sat on the couch, and then after a while we went into my room so I can pack to stay at Sadie's. We were all talking while I was packing, until I heard my doorbell ring.

"I'll be right back." I told them, and they nodded. I walked to the door, and I opened it. It was Finn, with a worried look on his face. He came into the house, and then I closed the door. I turned back around and he embraced me into a hug, and I hugged back. He let go after a while, and he looked down to me.

"Are you okay?? I heard what happened." He said.

"I guess I'm fine, it's just hard. I'm staying with Sadie, because my mom hasn't woken up yet, and they don't know when she will." I said, and I felt tears starting to form in my eyes.

"I couldn't imagine what it's like." Finn said, and I nodded. I blinked and I felt a tear start to go down my face. Finn wiped it away with his thumb, and I looked up at him. I put my hands around his neck and pulled him into a hug, and he pulled me into a hug too. After while, I pulled away from the hug, remembering the girls are here.
