Millie's pov

I woke up to see darkness. But I heard voices.

"They are the two that got him caught. He's in prison because of them." I heard a man say.

"And why bring them here? He's breaking out, he's not even in prison anymore." Another man said, and I looked around. I saw another bodily figure to my left, sitting down, leaning their back against the wall. I crawled over to the person, listening into the two men's conversation.

"We brought them here for him, so he can kill them." He said, and my stomach dropped. I got over to the person, to see it was Finn. His eyes were closed. I shook his shoulder.

"Finn, wake up." I whispered to him, but he wouldn't wake up. I climbed on top of his lap, legs on both sides of him, and shook both of his shoulders.

"Finn, please wake up." I whispered, but nothing. After a couple more tries of that, I brought my hand back and slapped him across the face, and I saw his eyes widen and he was about to yell, but I covered his mouth with my hand. His eyes darted to me, then behind me, then to my hand covering his mouth, then to me, sitting on him.

I slowly take my hand off of his mouth, and he looks around.

"Where are we?" He whispered, and I realized I was still on his lap. I awkwardly got off of it, and then sat next to him.

"I don't know, but I can hear two guys talking. They said they brought us here for a guy who got out of prison, they said it's our fault." I said, and felt tears coming down my face.

"Our fault for what? What are they even gonna do?" He whispered.

"Our fault that he was in jail, and they said he was gonna kill us. Finn, this can't be real." I whispered, and I felt him put his hand on the side of my face. I felt his thumb wipe away the tears on my face, and we kept eye contact.

We didn't break it until we heard a door open, and he let go of me and I sat down, not facing him anymore.

"They're awake." I heard someone say, and the light turned to a dim, so we could see.

"Who are you? Why are we here?" Finn asked.

"Don't you remember me?" He asked, and we shook our heads no.

"You two were the ones who were hiding in the storage closet, but I couldn't get the fucking door open. But you're not here to see me." He said, and I furrowed my eyebrows. I looked around the room that was now visible, and it was empty. It had stone walls and floors, and two wooden square poles, I'm assuming holding up this room. There were chairs by them.

"Okay, get up." The guy said, and I looked at Finn. I stood up, and I grabbed his hand and helped him up, hoping he wouldn't hurt his stomach in the process.

"Go sit in those chairs, I'll be right back." He said, walking out. I looked at the chairs, and they were far away from each other, but they were facing each other. I sat in one, and Finn sat in the other. We were facing each other, and we made eye contact from across the room. The room isn't that big, though.

The guy came back in, and he had ropes. He tied my hands to the chair, and he did the same with Finns.

Is someone actually this cruel, to go after teenagers??

"He will be here in a few hours, till then, I'm here, along with him." The man said, as another man walked in.

"You know, I'm pretty upset what you did. You got him arrested." One of them said, walking over to me.

"We didn't get him arrested, he got himself arrested, dumbass." I said, and right after that comment, I felt a slap across my face. It stung.

"Don't FUCKING touch her!!!" I heard Finn yell, and then I heard a clicking sound and looked to him. The other guy had a gun to his head.

"Say something like that again, and you're dead." The guy said, and he took it off.

"You can't kill me. Your friend is going to." Finn said, and I flinched at the thought of Finn dying.

"Finn.." I said, and he looked away from the guy and back to me.

"What, Millie? It's true." He said, and I felt a tear fall.

"He didn't say we couldn't hurt you, we just can't kill you." The guy said, and then I saw him punch Finn in the face.

"Finn!!" I yelled, tugging at the ropes that were restricting me from getting out of the chair. They were lose, I just have to make my hands small enough to go under them.

"We'll be back in a couple hours." One of the men said, and they both walked out. I started to breath really heavily, and tried to get out of the ropes. I slid my hand under it, and it hurt a lot, but it's worth it. I got one hand out, and used it to untie my other one.

I finally got out, and got up, running over to Finn. I sat down on his lap again, in his chair, so I could easily get the ropes off of his hands. I threw them over on the other side of the room once I got them off, and I looked up to Finn. His eyes were closed, and I grabbed both of his hands, putting them between us.

"Finn, can you hear me?" I asked, and there was no response. I intertwined my fingers with his, and I felt him squeeze my hands. He opened his eyes a little, and let go of one of my hands. He brought it up to my face, where I got slapped.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"Am I okay?" I asked, and he smiled.

"Yeah." He said.

"I'm fine, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes, Millie. I've taken a punch before." He said, and I smiled. I looked down, and realized I was still on his lap.

"Oh sorry, I'll get off." I said, getting off, but I felt him grip my hand tighter.

"No, stay." He said, and right after he said that, the lights went off. (The idea looked cool in my mind just go with it lol)

"Okay." I said, looking into his eyes. He looked at mine, and I could see his face perfectly, even in the darkness. His freckles were scattered across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose, and his lips were slightly parted. Mine were too.

I rested my forehead against his, and I felt his hands go around my waist, but I didn't mind.

I leaned in and placed my lips against his, and he didn't hesitate to kiss back.

I leaned back after a second, and then looked at him. We both smiled, and I put my head in the crook of his neck, kind of hugging him. He started to trace his thumb around my waist, and I smiled.

But good times, don't last.

I'm sorry if you didn't like this chapter, next chapter is the last part of it. There's not gonna be any more action after that, so sorry if you didn't like this, I just got bored with writing the same stuff.
