I think of life like a fire.
You build it with care and you nurture it until it's big enough to keep itself. You keep it in control so it doesn't get out of hand. The moment you turn your back on it though, it has a mind of its own and gets out of hand and causes trouble. The trouble it causes always comes back on you.
Raise you fire/family correctly and keep it in check. Don't lose your heat. Don't lose your life by turning your back.
