Lumière laid out the plan on the table in front of them and Mr. Cogsworth looked up at him with confused facial expressions. Lumière looked proud as he was almost sure that his plan would work, even if it didn't at least he would get to see his Master happy and that was enough for him.
Featherduster walked around him as she read the plan and looked in deep thoughts. Mrs. Potts tried to calm Chip's excitement down and smiled lightly at Lumière.
Mr. Cogsworth cleared his throat before speaking, "So, you mean to say Lumière that, we beg Enchantress to turn us into human form for two nights so, we can host a party and Master finds the love of his life?" Mr. Cogsworth looked seconds away from fainting as his head hurt from Lumière's stupid idea.
Lumière nodded at him, placing his hands on his waist, "Yup, that's the plan."
Featherduster sighed at him, "This won't work, my love." This caused Lumière to frown and he turned towards her, "And why do you think so?"
Mrs. Potts sighed loudly, finally loosening Chip from her grip and letting him jump down on the floor, "Because, Lumière even if your plan works. How do we find the Enchantress?"
Lumière looked at Mrs. Potts, "I may have an idea but, I don't know if it will work."
"What is it?" Mrs. Potts asked, suspicious of the plan now, as Lumière tend to go overboard with his plans.
Lumière avoided eye contact with anyone as he paced around the room, and looked down. "I mean...." He started but, didn't complete as he knew no one would agree to it.
"You mean?" Mr. Cogsworth urged him to continue.
Lumière scratched his head, as he turned around abruptly, "ImeanwecanaskMastertotakeustotheEnchantresswiththehelpofthemagicalbook." He shrugged lightly as she finished the sentence in a breath, not daring to look at anyone.
"You what?" Mrs. Potts lashed out as she had heard him correctly and now she was certain that he had lost his mind.
Lumière's expressions crumbled as he looked at them and saw them looking at him, as he had lost his mind, he shrugged at them as he spoke, "We could try."
Featherduster narrowed her eyes at him, "How can you even think of this?" She asked him, "Why would Master agree to this?" As she finished asking her question they heard a new voice speak up, and everyone in the room froze in their spot.
"Why won't Master agree to what?" The Beast asked as he stepped in the room, he had calmed down after yesterday's fiasco and in a good mood seemingly
The servants were scared to death as Master tended to lose his temper at minimal things. The Beast looked around the room but, heard no voice as he waited for a response.
"Mrs. Potts, what is going on?" He asked her, as she was the wisest amongst them. "I..uh..nothing is going on here, darling. You mustn't worry about anything. It's nothing." She nodded at him with certainty even though her heart was beating rapidly.
Mr. Cogsworth's mind had stopped working and he did everything in power to not make eye contact with his Master. Featherduster hid behind Lumière as Master looked around the room for any suspicions. Madame Garderobe was asleep upstairs so, she wasn't aware of this meeting.
"Lumière? Is there something, you wish to tell me?" The Beast asked while looking down at him. Lumière knew there was no other way to let him know about their plans. So, he mustered up all the courage he could and squared his shoulders before looking up at his Master and spoke, "Master, we have a plan for breaking the curse."
The Beast seemed startled as he hadn't thought of this, when he came here due to the commotion. He tried to relax and spoke, "Okay. Go on, what is this plan of yours?" He folded his arms as he stood up straight.
